I know, that would be fun for me because i've already got 3 boys of my own, but h2b hasn't got any and would love that lol, but i'd just be happy with 1 if it meant it worked for him xx

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too Kelzbelz, we found it ok the 1st time round, think it's because we didn't know what to expect & we had such a positive attitude towards it all. We're feeling a little down trodden this time tho, I just need to start thinking positive again, which i'm sure I will nearer the time. I'm not too sure how it will be for you Ana, because if you have difficulty conceiving I think you can actually go thru the NHS, and I think the waiting list is about 2 years, unless you want to go private & then you have to pay. It was different for us Ana cuz, I have been sterilised, that's why we have had to go for IVF, I had C Sections with my other children and they only allow you to have 3. So we went to our Doctors (10th June 2010) to ask where we stood, he then referred us to the Hospital (8th July 2010), to see if they would agree from me to have another C Section, they agreed so then I had to go through other tests because I have Fibroids. H2B had to go and have a Sperm Test (24th August 2010). We then had our 1st consultation at Midland Fertility Clinic (27th August 2010), then we had to go through all the test again with them (H2B had his on 6th September 2010), I had my blood tests, scan & hormone test on 16th September 2010). My Fibroid tests wasn't very good so I had to have an extra Test (something they call a Saline Test on the 26th September 2010, they finally gave me the all clear (2nd November 2010).
We paid the total amount & then our mediation was delivered (18th November 2010). We started our treatment injections (1st December 2010 which was H2B's birthday), all the treatment lasted until the Pregnancy Test (10th February 2011) which unfortunately was negative. Hope this helps a little.
The treatment we are starting a week tomorrow is supposed to last between 4-6 weeks.

Sterilization can be reversed but there's no guarantee it would work, so they advised us to go for IVF.
This time next week we will have had our 1st injections, the sleepless nights have started already, I wish I didn't get so stressed out about it xx

I know how you feel about being anxious about h2b's tests, if your anything like me you're probably worried more than he is, I was exactly the same. I'll be honest with you it's a real rollercoaster ride, but even though our last journey ended in a negative pregnancy test, it was still worth. I'm sure you just want it over and done with though so you know what to do next.
When's your h2b got his test's?? Hope it soon xx

O that's really sweet of you thanx Alanah, it really mean's alot to have so many peeps on here sending me luck, maybe this time with everyone's fingers crossed and positive thoughts we may get the baby we dream about, and if it doesn't work out at least i'll have all of you on here to cheer me up xx

He's not phased, I am stressed which is the last thing I have to be when TTC. I must admit we are not to bad because we know there are lots of options if it's just h2b having a low count. He missed them a week ago because our mail went to the wrong house so there in 2 weeks! All just a waiting game, isn't it!!

Argh only 4days... I bet you have such mixed feelings like excitement mixed with anticipation & a yucky sickly feeling!

When I had my first & second tests, I did think to myself... "well this is only the beginning of it" being poked & prodded & you are well ahead so I can't imagine what you's have been through so far.

Good luck hun, I work on a maternity unit that has an assisted conception unit so know how hard it is, also it took my eldest daughter 9 years to get her beautiful little girl Eva who ended up being conceived naturally so there is always hope xxx

2 days to go now, OMG i'm getting sooooo nervous, I hate the injections, that's the worse bit, Last time I ended up having to have 2 a day by the end because my body didn't respond as quick as they wanted it to the medication, so this time i'm hoping it's different and I only have to have the 1, (but at least I don't have to do it h2b does them for me cuz I feel nauseous just looking at them) plus i'v got the tablets I've got to take & the pessaries I've got to insert (which I won't be asking h2b to do LOL).

Last time it was supposed to be 7-8 weeks but it took 12 weeks from 1st injection to Pregnancy test, but because we've already got the embryo's frozen this time it should only be 4-5 weeks, depending on how my body responds to the drugs this time x :). Im so excited too xx

Hope all goes well for you J, we found out Friday its probably deffo looking like IVF as my partners sperm is very motility his sperm been tested 3 times and once in another hospital, we cant get it on nhs they have put a stop on it for a few yrs so we gonna save and go private had to cut our wedding back now and not inviing our 10 mates got to go tell them tomoz but they will understand

O sorry to hear that clare, i'm sure u & h2b will be fine, IVF's not too bad & i'm sure your friends will understand.
Yeah I know Alanah tomorrow eeeek, so nervous, I hardly slept last night so goodness only knows wot i'm going to be like tonight, I hope the next few weeks go as quickly as the last couple have. My appointment to start 1st injection is 11.30, so will let you know how i've got on when I get back xxx

Just got back from our appointment, my 1st injection is now in, it wasn't too bad as injections go, but I had to have another blood test aswell (HIV HepB, etc) because the others were out of date, (cost us an extra £160) so 2 needles today rather than 1, h2b had to have blood test aswell so at least I wasn't on my own.
I have got to have 1 injection a day (to make my body think it is going through the menopause) for 3 weeks or until the lining of my womb has thinned right down, they have booked us in for the scan on 14th Feb, Valentines Day (hopefully that's a good luck sign), then if all is well, we'll continue injections for 12 days but I will be taking lot's of tablets aswell (to thicken the lining of my womb) so that once the embryo's have been transferred it will give them more chance of attaching to the lining xx
Not really looking forward to the hot sweats, headaches & numerous toilet trips in the night (got to drink lots of water) but i'm sure it will all be worth it if this time in 6/8 weeks I'm pregnant x
