First things first, put the kettle on, have a brew and a biscuit. Second, as MrsA2B says, write a to do list.
Delegate stuff to the groom, best men, BMs, MOH, mothers, the local postie.
Then have another brew, and maybe a slice of cake this time!!
It will all work out hon xxxx

8th September 2012 I married my best friend
1st September 2014 our little family grew by one
Women are made to be loved, not understood. - Oscar Wilde
I would prioritise it, so things that would benefit from being done sooner - such as dry-cleaning the dresses. Then whilst you're out doing that, could you pop in to pick up some underwear? Crafty stuff can be done in the evenings, and get your h2b to help with the tidying.
Try to do all the shopping stuff in one day, that way you can tick them all off the list. Put half a day aside to make all the phone calls. Doing it in batches will the the list go down quicker x
If only life could be one long tea break
CommentAuthormillz090
Break the list down by 'done by dates' and then you know what you need to do today, tomorrow, next week, etc and then stick to your list and do each bit on the correct day so all be done in time.
Have a evening with bridesmaid/friends and H2B to get the crafty bits done at home and everyone helping will get it done quicker xxx

Omg no wonder you are stressed with all that to do, have you got someone helping you? Make sure you rope some volenteers in then its wont seem to bad. If I were you I would plan a couple of jobs a day to do, dont leave it all till the last minute or it will really get on top of you. I have got 20 days left but I dont have as much to do, just have to pay my photographer and DJ and pickup my dress a couple of days before and make a few favours and put the post box thing together. The first dance practise I keep avoiding lol, we are seeing the wedding co-ordinator at the registrar tomorrow so if I pick ant tips up I'll post on here. Good luck Sian and dont forget space it out a couple of jobs a day x
CommentAuthorSelinaK
Ok, so its going to take a bigger slice of cake than I thought!!!! Get a BM to go to the dry cleaners, and get others helping with all the crfty stuff where ever possible. It looks a long list, but trust me in one morning you could easily tick a third off that list! xx

1 bridesmaid lives in newcastle 1 near stansted I'm in kent the 1 that lives near works really long hours I am basically doing it all on my own my mum lives in newcastle too so no where near me h2b is gona get a shock tonight I have colour coded it red -do urgently amber -do asap green - do soon but not needed asap blue is emails and phone calls hopefully I will get it all done 24 days it is possible
You could maybe have a buying day where you shop and get all the gifts/postbox and table plan stuff/pjs etc Then a diy day where you make a load of stuff. And an errand day where you drop stuff off/pick things up etc
Then you could have sorted a load of that in a weekend. I love lists and ticking things off. Once you get started you will love it and want to do them all straight away!
CommentAuthorKate4
Most importantly, keep calm. You've got time and it'll all get done :-)

It is a long list, but a lot of things will just take a few minutes, or an afternoon / morning to sort a whole bunch of them. There's 45 items on your list, even only doing 2 a day will still have you finished in time! The other ladies have it spot on, have a cup of tea and a biscuit, put your list into a priority order and then just start, you'll probably find at the end of one day you could easily wipe out your shopping list, Rosie list or your craft list, that'll be a huge chunk done and probably make you relax a bit more!
CommentAuthorSian''OCD''Holkham
I have started it and will get through it slowly but surely worried there are more things to add though x
Hope you get it sorted. At least you have a list- reading some of the points on it they are only small and you could get them done in a day. Good luck im sure youll have it all sorted in time. xx

ok I have looked at your list and YES it does LOOK a lot. However, I think that you can get a lot of these things done every day. Focus on all the important things via email one night e..g organizing your timings etc and one day this week or at the weekend, focus on making sure everything to buy is brought. If it makes you feel better I have had to delegate and I have only literally 15 mins ago emailed the printers. When I get it back we will have 2 weeks ish and we have to then make all the stationary up then so dont panick. you will get it all done.
cant wait to be Mrs Evans less than 3 weeks woooo
start weight 10st 1.5 lbs
weight now 8st 4.5 lbs
total loss to date: 24.5 lbs now need to maintain!
CommentAuthorMariephiz
You can easily get a lot of this done on a Saturday with some of the bridesmaids in tow! Get them together, and then you can head into town, dropping off your engagement ring on the way for cleaning, grab them some shoes, jump under a sun bed, buy the bits you need for stationary and sweet jars, then pick up ring and suits on the way back, get the girls to give you a hand when you get home making those crafty bits and voila! half a dozen bits knocked off in one afternoon! You can do it! xx
CommentAuthorSian''OCD''Holkham
Have managed to get quite a few bits done today and have re done the list feeling more positive now here's the new list:

I think it's good you've re-written it with a time-frame. And as the other ladies have said, a lot of things can be done in batches. You've taken a huge step writing it out because you know what you have to deal with now. It looks like you're approaching it all in a methodical way so I think you'll get through it no bother :) :)

A wedding planner sorted it out for me lol have done some of that today as well so I'm pleased x
Oh girls I thought I was the organised one. I love your lists. Ill use them to help me make sure I have got everything and done everything on time. X well done.
Well done on getting the list sorted with it all prioritised. That's the hard bit. Just make sure now you delegate the things that can be delegated to the BM's, groomsmen and family, that will take some of the strain and stress off you. You will get it all done! It looks like a lot but you'll be fine ...................talking from experience of going through this all last year when I was my sisters MOH/CBM. xxx

ooh that's right.....i was going to do a spreadsheet at some point now we've started paying for things...
CommentAuthorInDreamland
Good idea to start the spreadsheet now hun. I started one up as soon as Church and reception venue were booked. Then as all other suppliers have been booked and deposits paid I've put in the planner when the final balance and confirmations need to be made/paid for each supplier. That way we will keep on top of it all nearer the time. It worked as a system for my sister's wedding so adopting the same approach, we're both controlling and OCD when it comes to planning and organising ;) x

i need to be more like that! i can be too laid back sometimes, but this is definitely NOT an occasion to be laid back...too much money involved apart from anything else! least we have the insurance sorted...
CommentAuthorInDreamland
Insurance is good.
The spreadsheet is so easy to start. Just need 2 columns, one with dates (a date in each line from today until the day your wedding gifts are delivered if you're having a list and when to send out Thank You cards) and the other with your Actions/To Do.
I love spreadsheets! I even have one for budgeting, love linking everything up and with lotsa formulas for adding up and analysing categories where the money is going lol. xx

Yes am wanting to include a money aspect to it, that's for sure!! To keep a running total of how much we still have to pay so I don't go bonkers in the online sales.....it's so long since I bought myself some nice clothes....waaaaaaah!!!
CommentAuthorInDreamland
Ditto, I can't believe how little I shop now unless for wedding stuff! Thank goodness for sister and best mate who buy me clothes for Christmas and Birthday!
Definitely good idea to have a spreadsheet on wedding costs. Budget how much you're willing to pay for each element of the wedding, how much you then agree with the supplier and the final price, how much you've paid so far and who has paid i.e. you, h2B, parents. Helps keep on top of the spending xx

Biggest difficulty is getting the point across to h2b...finally succeeded this weekend though and got him sitting down looking at his monthly expenditure and seeing what we realistically need to do to keep ourselves on the right track....alas clothes shopping is off the agenda, boo!
