My favour bags arrived today, still waiting on the chocolates we ordered and then we can start putting the favours together. I think if I do a few each night it will be less tedious!

Ive been trying to get in touch with our registrar today to book the pre wedding appointment, but couldn't get through all day, I did speak to another department within the register office who informed me I will probably have to wait until after Easter now as they are busy with weddings and births ect.

Had the rehearsal tonight! Really eye-opening! I did not realise I'd have to kneel down twice during the ceremony!! That will be interesting!!!
Really pleased with how things are going, got to pack our overnight bag and label up everything tomorrow! Finished off my sweetie table stuff today, so many goodies!
Nails done tomorrow morning too can't wait for that a little bit of relaxing!!

My brother isn't part of the wedding party, and I wanted to include him in some way. Yesterday evening he came over (rare as we live far apart) and I asked him if thought about what he might want to do.
He told me he's been learning some of the songs that remind us of mum. (she passed away a few years ago aged 52. She always played guitar) especially for us! He's going to play instrumentals on my mums guitar of stairway to heaven, romanza, nights in White satin and dream a little dream (during the drinks reception). I'm thrilled. I welled up.
We are having a seat for mum at the end of the top table with a balloon tied to it, and he said "you can't leave her chair empty, so her guitar can sit in her seat"
Him and my dad have also chosen their suits (ignore the t-shirts) but don't they look dapper!

hehe just called the docs to get a repeat prescription.... feels so weird saying my married name.... also called the cottage company to ask what name i placed the booking in just incase i need to change it.... got told that this time next week the final balance is due..... woohoo!

Woohoo Catherine, I've worked out its been 10 weeks since I ordered my dress so should be here on the 17th BUT 12 weeks is just an estimate.
Teresa bet that feels amazing to have paid off the venue.
Ive got 2 invites left to give out for day time guests H2b will see his friend on sat night and my cousin should be round at some point tomorrow. Then its just the evening guests to write out. had about 6 rsvps back from my family not had one from OHs family but thenhis mum didnt even bother to open it when we gave her it.

Oooo, exciting for you too then Elizabeth! She did ask if I wanted to put in the corset back straight away which I said yes to but we then changed and decided not in case it fits upon arrival..... I think pigs were flying overhead today there's no cat in hells chance that will happen!!!! ;)

Our bridesmaids (H2B's sister) has been told that she will be working in India for the 2 months prior to the wedding, so I need to get there dresses ordered asap so that hers can be altered before she leaves. She wanted to order them later as she is on a diet but we have no choice but to order them now, they are corset back so they can just be tied tighter if she loses weight. I'm annoyed that she's going to have an awesome tan though!! I'll definitely have to get a spray tan done lol :)

A uni friend wasn't going to be able to make the wedding as her Mum had booked a surprise holiday to celebrate the end of uni but has just told me that they aren't going until the 17th now which is awesome as it means she can come to the wedding yay! She and another uni friend are going to sing a duet which will sound amazing in the cathedral so I'm really excited :D I'm just so pleased she can make it!!

They are! I'm so pleased because not only can she make the wedding but we've got so many of our loved ones participating in our day :) We've got my sister singing a solo, our uni friend and my godfather doing readings, 2 of our close uni friends singing a duet and my old vicar conducting the prayers! Helpful having done a music degree when it comes to weddings ;) xx
