Wedding Forum - 2015 BRIDES share ideas, plans etc here!...

I hate money! Never have enought, but hopefully just need to get though to january and mum mum said she would pay off the car for me! Currently in have to pay 115 tomorrow for council tax, which we don't have, rent on the 5th which we are 100 short! Besides having barely any food in house! :(

well had the quote for my bespoke dresses its fab viki is making them there perfect

is it me or is everyone the same? i literally know how i want all the tables laid out, with how i want the napkin placed and what placed on top of it and can even vision the table all laid out, but i am WORRIED to death the venue wont do it as i vision it to be and i will be disappointed on the day..

please tell me i am not the only crazy lady here? hahah

i'm completely doubting myself even though its exactly what we want im worried about other peoples opinions! add to that the fact that ive fallen out with my MOH and best friend and i have a recipe for disaster.

Ive been really ill since january and havent been at work and had to have surgery in june (it was only a gall bladder removal) but up until that point i was on morphine etc due to the constant pain. she came to see me every few weeks and i was happy for it even when i was at my very worst and all i wanted to do was be alone in bed.

after my surgery i started to feel much better and had booked to goto a festival with H2B which unfortunately landed right on her birthday and she was seriously p1ssed at me for it. because i hadnt been at work i had literally no money and my H2B was paying for everything i had exactly 98p in my bank account so i didnt send her a card (bad on me i know) i promised her i would spoil her rottten when i got back from my festival and got paid from my new job which wouldnt have been until the end of august.

Anyway after the festival i uploaded photos on the way home - which she took offence too and hadnt noticed i had deleted my numbers (drunken fumblimg with my phone is never good) and retrieved them from the internet when i got home) then went to my mums for a few days as she was looking after out little girl for us and where she lives you get absolutely no phone reception and her internet is worse than dial up used to be so i didnt get in contact with my MOH (to be fair i was on 'holiday' and wouldnt expect anyone else to text me while they were away) so she sent me a scathing text message telling me i was a horrible friend and i think of no one but myself etc etc and she was the only person to ever get in contact with me cos i was a crap friend. well we sorted it when i said ok i have been a bad friend (i defended myself with regards to the being on holiday bit which she took as me being defensive and ridiculous)

so after that i made a point of texting her first every couple of days even just to say hi and she tended not to respond so when i sent her a text and she flat out ignored me (phone probs apprently - weird she'd been using it to update FB) i lost my sh1t to put it bluntly, she had really layed into me about beign a terrible friend for her to turn round and to do exactly the same thing she'd had a go at me about. id out the texts on here but my god it would be longer than this lol

needless to say her being so needy pushed me right over the edge and i told her i was sick of her attacks on me when she wasnt getting her way and for her to be so vile when im finally getting to enjoy my life and make it up to my family who i need to prioritise after 7 months of 'neglect'. She then told me all i care about is my wedding - DUH!!- and myself and im a terrible person etc etc


That doesnt make a lot of sense but i am rambling now lol

im really stubborn too so its unlikely il back down, though after the things she said to me i dont intend too!

ive been planned for months and months now i have the venue done, photographer done, registrar booked, dress decided on just have to buy it before she stops making it!

centre pieces bought, invites being made, flowers made....yeah ive done more than i thought lol

Eeeeeekkkkk, this time in 2 years today I will be a married lady!!!! It was 30 degreees here in Kent today so I hope its as beautiful in 2 years time if a little cooler!!!

I'm off to my first wedding fair in 3 weeks, am sooo excited and will probably want everything there!!!

We have just booked an engagement party for October so have been busy planning that and can't wait to be able to talk weddings all night to my friends and family,haha!!!

Im at this point too Kitty... There's a few things I actually want to leave til next year like sorting my hair, nails, honeymoon, and possibly flowers.. And a few for 2015 like rings and H2B getting his suits..

I'm making myself random little projects to keep me busy haha.. Xxx

Lol, least you'll have your time away to distract you..

Are you arty or crafty ? Maybe you could create yourself little projects just to keep you busy until November.. I'm making glass charms at the moment, and doing a Me to You wedding stitch, also special glasses for the bridal party :-) xxx

Went to my first wedding farir today! and did sort my photographer from it and also got a lovely idea. They had these really small milk bottles with funky straws in that i fell in love with so im gonna buy them for the kiddies to have their toast in when the adults have champs <3 xxx

Best thing to do Mundith !! Don't tell anyone you plans :-) if they ask just say 'Ah it's coming along but not decided properly yet' :-)

Good for you !! My H2B keeps bugging me lately because when I want to do something a little different it's 'well that's not traditon' but when he wants to do it it's fine ! Grrrr..

I'm not sure how traditional ours is lol..... I suppose it's pretty traditional really in most respects.. Bar not getting married in a church which I guess some people class as a tradition.. Xxx

I'm sending mine April 2014, but that is because we are going abroad, therefore most of my guests will be booking may2014 so all my invites will have the stuff in they need to book with. Probably doesn't help you at all but didn't want to read and run Natalee. Xxx

I'm sending them because I know our families book holidays around the time were getting married a year in advance so I want to make sure everyone's aware of the date well in advance ! Xxx

Depends I think.. If people you're inviting have kids you'll be safe cause of the new fines that have come in for taking kids on holiday in term time... But if you have older family members who have grown kids or no kids then they might go out of school holidays for a cheaper price / less kids at their hotel etc xxx

Im not sending save the date cards, but thats cause im sure everyone knows and wont get a chance to forget since im boring everyone with going on about it all the time lol x

I'll be sending them as our day is valentines day and obviously couples make plans for the day/evening so will need to let them know in advance xx
