Hello lovely 2015 brides-to-be,
I am new to UKBride, We have set a date for 4th April 2015, easter weekend, we are getting married a cheshire hotel, booked the venue, registrar and a wedding singer so far. I have just had my Save The Date sent to be today, i only uploaded an edited image onto a photo website like photobox and ordered them as a photograph they look so lovely and they were only 5pounds for 100, just some advise when you register as a new user your first 100 prints are free with no minimum order.

I knew i had to get it when i started to booked things incase they went busted etc but i didn't know what company to pick. who did you go for? it is a good job it's just a 1 off payment that is affordable instead of the price of car insuarnce ha ha xx

I know what you mean about the wedding fairs, all the ones i have been too only ask 1 question, and that was when is your wedding? when you say 2015 they look down to the floor and just give you a leaflet and just say call them if your interested nearer the time. That's prob why i have just done lots of research on the web instead. I have booked a day in a bridal shop with my mum to try on different styles of dresses, as i don't know which style would suit me yet, so looking forward to that. It is scary how quick the time will fly though as i need to use next years holidays in work to book time out for my hen doo and then the week before the wedding, as our holiday year runs from April to March, so when you think of it like that it is scary. but they say once a date is set the time is here before you know it.

hi 2015 brides just booked our church last sunday and paying the deposit on our venue this weekend sooo exciting finally feeling real. now just need to start the dress diet i will be back to my pre baby weight for my dress.

SarahM512 mrsdean2B i too had a bit of a panic about losing baby weight - after 6 months of hard work have got to target weight - just got to try and not put it all back on now!

I am really anxious about dress shopping and the wedding actually - hate the thought of everyone looking at me and worried i will be bright red in the photos or fall on my face! Hence why my little one is going to be flower girl - to try and divert the attention!

Still looking at wedding insurance at the moment

That sounds like the one to me! Its just how i felt, i did not want to take it off! I've now been looking up vintage type tiaras to go with my dress, in the shop the had the vintage style side headbands but i don't really like them, and the tiara type they had was too modern to suit the dress! I put some i found in my albums.

I think i will leave my lippy with my mum!

As far as I know you don't include them in numbers... Most venues provide a smaller meal for say £10-15 from what I've heard xxx

I only thought about it as one of the ones we met said they would want a meal !! Xxx

I think we will feed ours seeing as they'll both be with us all day poor guys. :P

Venue has been booked and deposit paid, photographer booked and paid, provisonal booking with registrarbooked and paid and 'the dress' diet coming on a treat, 6lbs off in 2 weeks! only 1..cough....1 more to go ;)

I'm new to this forum. Our wedding is on 9th May 2015 and we have organised a lot of stuff already. We've booked the venue, registrar, photographer, chair covers and sashes. Bought the insurance, bubbles, personalised napkins, table numbers, table number holders, place cards, cameras, table gems, flowers (silk bouquet, x6 buttonholes, x2 bridesmaid posys and 2 table decs all for £85) and save the date cards. We're making our invitations, favour bags and thank you cards.

Ours is a same-sex wedding and my b2b is struggling with her outfit, she doesn't think she'll feel comfortable in a dress. Trying to find a ring cushion that we both love and table decorations as I am really fussy lol.

got some weight to lose before I want to start trying dresses on. Any tips on the best diets?

Welcome Katherine :) If you're getting married in a church I would recommend Easter Saturday - that's the date we're getting married and the church is being decorated ready for Easter that morning before our ceremony so we don't have to splash the cash on flowers for the ceremony :)
