Lol thank you it made it awkward seeing as though he wanted ivory but felt it would suit his colouring more, he has sort of a medium skin tone but if out in the sun he goes very dark brown (lucky sod lol) and the wedding dress I wanted is ivory too but most people have said we will not clash, well I'm hoping any way :/ and I think I may buy him an adult bib lmso xx

Feel the same Lana; I have my heart set on the 12th May 2015 and hopefully in Kafelonia but have to look at more UK venues first as well as get money...it is so hard to save up to move out and save for a wedding when only my oh is working as I can't get a job. Whoever said getting a job is easy when you have a degree was fibbing...:(

A very excited newbie here.
Got engaged on my birthday in July after 7 years together.

Our date to marry is 5th September 2015.

Have booked venue, reception, and got my dress (eeekk I know way too early but it was half price and as soon as it touched my skin I just knew it was "the one")

We have a meeting with the photographer next week, any advice/tips/questions we should ask???

Hi hun, im getting married july 2015 and have so far booked my venue and registras and paid deposits and bought me wedding insurance! Everything else is more or less plans and idea although i have started buying merchendise for my center peices as want them anyway! Have tryed some dresses on but not found 'the one' and hoping to lose at least a stone!

If i were you i would hold off booking anymore till its passed the 5th september this year then get wedding insurance as it does not cost alot but covers anything going wrong but will only cover deposits upto a certain amount from before you take out the insurance!

After that go crazy and book anything you like! Myself i plan on starting to order and book everything else once xmas passes!

Thank you for your lovely replies and friend requests.

So pleased I have found some lovely ladies that are in the same boat as me as my family and friends are like it ages away so don't really talk about it.

After we book photographer that's us done until Sept 2014 as next year we have such a busy year with lots to pay out for so not a lot will be done.
I've paid all my deposits and dress with credit card so they are covered insurance wise but once I have to start paying out some big bucks I definately want to get insurance.

Any of you lovely ladies got insurance, what do u recommend?

Woo H2b's suit should be arriving today between 1 & 2pm, excited but nervous as to whether or not its going to fit him (custom made from overseas as here in the Uk its much harder to get the colour and style he wanted, picture on this page) fingers crossed that its a perfect fit :-/ xx

Suit tried on and it fitted although a little tight in some places but nothing major, and considering it was not from here its a really well made suit :)

Lana curious to how comes you'd be sending Std's at 23 months to go, obviously its personal choice but I wondered about sending mine but didn't want to be sending them out too soon so was thinking of sending them when we hit the 1 year mark? but am confused as a fair few people seem to be sending them out sooner x

It is certainly confusing lol our date is valentines day 2015 and don't couples normally (well most lol) plan days/evenings out? so is it best to do sooner or still wait as a year is still plenty of notice

Im able to get around 100/150 pieces of card in tardis blue for £3 and have made a template so pop the card into the printer a copy the template done!

I'm sending my StDs out in June next year for our July 2015 wedding as alot of our family book holidaysayesr in advance for around that time.. Xxx

I've already started sending out my save the dates, I did DIY and attached a magnetic strip to back of them, bay of e do tape where one side is sticky and the other is magnetic, got the tape for a couple of quid, photos' in my album.
