I think our wake-up call is going to be a little brutal at about 7am potentially earlier as we'll have to be vaguely respectable for visitors!
It's basically lots of different red fruit/berries, ice and fruit juice all blended together - tastes heavenly :)

Just got a load of deadlines and module guides uploaded from uni ready for our yearly thrashing and the sheer amount of workload is so intense that I'm really quite scared how I'm going to fit everything in.... Uni, deadlines, planning/having wedding, moving house (twice probably) and find a job! Save me someone??

Oh no, no honeymoon? Surely he can compromise? There's pools, suncream, hats etc surely! It must be exciting to have your actual dress though :D

I would order flowers next Elizabeth, I think we did ours about 11 months before but I'm impatient lol. You want to make sure you're booked in as you have a summer wedding and it's prime season :)

I went to see our bridesmaids dresses today! They are beautiful, I wanted to try one on haha! I'll upload pictures after I have my tea! Xx

Catherine I was excited when I got my wedding ring but also felt like I looked very young and that I wasn't old enough to get married, o there was a bit of that in there with my giddiness. I didn't want to take it off though lol.

I was at blue water today too but only browsing at wedding rings :) got some good ideas, just need to save a bit more before we put down deposits etc. where are you getting yours from Catherine?

We went to a wedding yesterday and it was beeeeautiful, I was worried the bride may have the same dress as me or a similar style band In the evening but it wasn't too similar. It is very exciting going to weddings when planning your own :)

Thanks, I love them :) they are different as I've never seen anything like them and I think they go nice with my dress as its the same material and mine kind of has two layers so mines very different too :) can't wait for the last dress to come around Feb (got my cousin as a last minute BM if youd forgotten!) hopefully when it's in I'll be having my fittings and see them at the same time!

Hello ladies, been a busy couple days for me. My daughter turned 3 today.
Went out on the town last night for a friend birthday,what a mistake.
But made me realise I don't want a big night out in heels that hurt my feet in clubs playing music that I hate. Think I would prefer a spa day with manicures, facials and massages.
And also rethinking wearing heels at all on my wedding day.

I bet he was really pleased Catherine :)

Thanks for the concern for my friend. She's having a hard time and wants to leave her husband but is worried about what comes next and how she would cope. They got married when she was 19 and only been together a year (by the wedding, not engagement, and also at 5 months pregnant) he's in the army and convinced her to get married when she never wanted to they got a house to play happy families etc. now he's turned into abut of a bully if im honest a d could be stuck with £11k debt in her name if she leaves him. And to make this worse her health visitor said she was 'suicidal' after making her do a questionnaire. I feel awful former, and she's only 20!

Oh my goodness April, the poor girl :( I know it probably doesn't help but I'll be thinking of her and will pray for a happy outcome at this horrible time xxx my cousin was very pleased though - he's with my other 2 boy cousins who are usher and page boy so he'll do a good job and enjoy the day more, he's only 13 bless him but he's growing up so fast!

Elizabeth - I used Br1daldev1ne for the ladies jewelry. Very pretty and handmade but extremely reasonable too as I managed to get mum's, bm's and moh presents all for £32.95 including postage! I'm afraid I was a bit of a traitor when it comes to the boys, I went to conf3tti lol but they have some great stuff on there so we got all the men a personalized tankard. Pictures below of some of the things we've gone with. All we have to do now is find a suitable present for our page boy who will be almost 4 years old by the wedding - we were thinking a nice, personalized activity pack for him? Keeps him occupied and I think he/parents will appreciate that more than just a toy which he may or may not like? x

Welcome Caroline! Great to have another in the 'fold' :) when in December are you marrying? We did have 31.12.16 in mind and love December/Christmas weddings but it was too far away so we've gone with August next year!

Wow, talk about good service - just had an email from our thank you present jewelry lady and she's already completed one of the presents! This is for my MIL2B and I must say, I'm rather pleased with it :D

Yep, directly from the shop website bit. I think it was around £50 for all 6 of them, £9.98 each I think they were! 2 dad's, a beat man and 3 uahers!

I can't wait to have a look at what they have. MrsK2b I LOVE that headpiece! If you don't mind me asking, where did you get it?

It was Catherine that led me to the headpiece in the first place, i'm still smiling about it, can't believe I have to wait until August to wear it! Although I did have it on my head for a good 20 minutes or so yesterday ;)

Don't beat yourself up too much - I'm sure your girls will appreciate them! We only had to look around as we have a very small budget (which I do feel bad about considering how much they are all contributing to help) so we had to somehow make do with what we have. If they are any kind of a friend then they will be thankful for the gift :)

this is the best week ever - invites out and my sister got engaged today! so so happy! and it means another wedding to plan as she hates organising! excited isn't the word! a pic of my invite is on my page if anyone wants to have a look at my FIL2B's amazing handiwork! :)

love everyones gifts - not sure what we are doing about all that yet my h2b doesn't want to bother with gifts for the boys and I haven't got my girls anything much yet - although I have got them oriental style dressing gowns in the colours of their dresses for the morning of the wedding as I am in Asia at the moment...xx

Oh April your poor friend. I am still undecided on flowers and my hair but my shoes have arrived today - ive gone with Miss KG white glittery heels and after trying them on they are perfect!

Jade, I'm getting a new passport for honeymoon. I wasn't planning to originally as I still had about 5 years on it, but then I went and lost my passport! So at least I have a valid reason to change it now :)
