Been to a wedding fair today as they were doing lots of competitions to win stuff for the wedding. Only reason I went reason as everything is pretty much booked (apart from transport as OH decided couple of weeks ago he wanted something!) We're going to one next week as well on our way back from lion king is Sunderland (fair is in Durham)

I've been thinking about another dress a lot this week. Only seen it on one of the threads a week ago and I feel like I need to try it on to forget about it :/

Have you already got your dress April? Sorry I can't remember.

If you have it could be dangerous to try another one on, but then again like you say if you don't try it on maybe you won't be able to get it out of your head :/

Yeah I do :( had it hanging in the spare room since march! I do love my dress I just feel like hopefully it's a phase and that if I tried this other one it wouldn't compare. That's what I'm hoping anyway! I think it's because I gotmy dress in the first place I looked and only tried about 4 on, I think it's a thing of not looking for very long, but as it was an outlet I went to first if I didn't buy it there and then I'd never know what my dress was or be able to get it again :/

Shop around for chair covers!! I was getting quotes of up to £4 per chair, which is ridiculous. There is usually someone local running an offer of half price chair covers, which is what I got, plus an extra discount as I also booked tableclothes, table runners & paid in full. I ended up paying £1.24 each for chair covers, sash & set up, bargain!!

My venue does chair covers but said they charge extra for sashes (which was a cream elastic bow) so I've used the company who do My centrepieces and getting my sashes for £1 each.

my 2 junior bridesmaids are going through a growth spurt one is 10yrs and the other 11yrs. I've been putting off ordering their dresses too early obviously because I don't want to get them one size and then realize that they need a different one due to their changing growth. However I don't want to leave it too later either
We get married 11 july 2015 when do you recommend I get their sizes and order them,(im getting them online)

depends on the delivery time scales if its just a matter of days then I would get them about 2 months before but if its say a 12 week expected delivery I would get them 4 months before.

Im going to meet with my venue mostly to see who the new team are and go over a couple of things, They say to leave everything to the last month but I cant be doing that its too much for my stress levels

I've just been informed that a local wedding dress shop is closing down on sunday, so all dresses are under £300. Hopefully my mum can go tomorrow, will be fab if I find something.
Mother of bride outfits, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, etc are cheap too so hopefully we find some major bargains.

I've just signed up to do 90 credits on my degree this year, on top of work, family and wedding planning.... it means I'm going to be extremely busy this year... but hopefully it will be worth it. If I can manage 90 this year and 90 next year then I can either do 90 the following 2 years and finish in 4 years, or do 60 when I get to the higher stages and finish in 5 years.

Congrats on the uni stuff and also the ice-cream tricycle - we have both!

Need some help ladies on tiaras etc. I had set my heart on the flower ringlet as my tiara but someone mention that she thinks the sparkly, jewelled one would work better especially with my dress so some honest opinions would be great as I was literally about to place an order but I'm not in middle and don't know which to go with although I am swinging towards the sparkle!

Wow congratulations on winning the ice cream trike, I clearly need to enter more competitions & leesa I'm jealous of your ice cream barge. I've said to h2b I'd love an ice cream trike to serve guests whilst all the pics are taking place, but he said we've spent enough already & that it's something we can consider nearer the time if funds allow. Although if I ever see one on offer I'll have to book lol, most quotes have come in around £400 so almost £4 per person, which seems quite a lot.

Love the sound of that Leasa!

Catherine I really like that the flowers are different but I think the sparkle would go better, I agree with MrsRobson that its got a 'boho bride' look, although lovely!

Thats a lot of money when you think £4 each :/ Its quite funny actually as months ago we did enquire to our local Archers ice cream (which is literally a 2/3 minute walk from our venue and the only other thing around) about serving for us on the day but they didn't get back to us - blessing really as now we have free ice cream!
