I think I've looked at the correct site for she who can't be named, has anyone used these or know someone who has used them to make their dress ?
Ive looked at the site and there are some gorgeous dresses on there. I've found though when I try to select contact us or order form nothing happens??? Don't know whether everyone gets this or it's because I'm on iPad :)

How many guests can the space hold? Is there a fee for the space an what dies it include? Are there any restrictions on music? If outsude venue what us plan B uf bad weather? Can i use my own vendors(dj,florist etc) If ceremony and reception are in save room , how long does it take to convert?

If you're having children at your reception ask if they're allowed crayons. A lady was on here the other day asking what she could do because her venues didn't allow any children's activities with crayons. Is there any restrictions on decor, i.e. some places don't want pins holding things up all the over the place leaving holes in the walls. What is included in the price, is there a package deal on everything ect, can things be swapped. Menu suggestions. :)

I've been on holiday, so I haven't been around for a while. Everyone's plans sound brilliant - it's all coming along. It'll be 2 years time before we know it.
Bendy-jendy, I would ask if you can bring your own drink (and if so, what's the corkage), do they have rooms for guests to stay in and can you block book the rooms/get a fixed price for them, can you decoarte the venue the way you want to, are there any other weddings on the same day. I hope this helps.

I had no idea to ask when we went to view our venue either so we took both the mothers and they handled all the questions for me! I was quite surprised when the other half started asking questions too !!
P.s we've officially booked our church wedding now so we're getting married at 2pm on the 4th April 2015 woo hooo!

Its everything bar our relationship is solid....We have been together nearly 8 years ours families have never met, so therefore some off our families is quite rude about the OH family...My family never get on with each other, we have just moved and i cant seem to find another job either after being refused a full contract (although i work for myself somedays)... So we decided to call off the wedding and just focus on having kids..The thing that annoys me the most is my family never gets on, don't talk or want to see me yet we live so close now..Some family huh?! Seems i cant win either way :( xx

Have you tried organising a big family meal, then work things out, and see if you can push the wedding to later on in the year ot the following year? Maybe then they might interact more, and realise you're cancelling your big day not only because of no work, but because of the rudeness and the upset it's causing you. Lay it out straight. xx

Lauren-michelleC...we have tried that and we even sent invites out for a family bbq next month and all are ignoring or not coming?! I always try and get nothing in return...my family anit exactly the easiest of people to get along with when all they do is stab you in the back, abuse you or do something illegally and you get drag into it.. If we don't get married its fine honestly but some people can't expect me to be ok with them after tuning our changes.. Besides my OH said he wants to concentrate on having a child instead :) x

Just go for a small intimate wedding where you do have to invite the family or elope to gretna green or vegas......at the end of the day bendy all that matters is that you and your OH get married :) massive hugs

Postponing sounds good, but do what you want ie if you still want to get married on your set date then do it if that's what you and hubby to be wants, and invite who you want. When my dad passed a couple of years ago I basically felt out with his side of the family (Long story they weren't happy with mum and I arranging all the funeral etc), so the only person representing my family is my mum, stuff the rest of them. Don't let others ruin things for you. Basically don't cancel if that isn't what you want to do. You don't have to have an expensive day, you could have a registry office ceremony and a little do after lots of pubs will let you book their function room for free, the end result is you still end up married at the end of the day, I'm sure you will get work sorted, good luck with the baby making.

I'd have loved to get married on Valentines cause it's the date H2B proposed but I hate winter haha !! My bro is getting married the day after Valentines next year :-) Dreading choosing what to wear as my usual weddings outfit of a maxi dress and wedges won't do well if it snows haha ! Going to have to try and find a nice trouser suit or something...

Lol see I'm not too fussed over seasons as this is Britain the weather will always be unpredictable lol that was our original date 15.02.2014 but due to Mil2b having treatment for leukaemia it was a very difficult time so we decided to postpone until we knew the situation with her health thankfully it is currently in remission so our new date happened to be valentines as we could keep original day as it fell on a Sunday and we wanted a Saturday :) x
Trouser suits are lovely for winter weather or a dress with a shrug in case it gets cold :)
I ordered a dress with them when I had my original date and was making monthly payments, when my Mil got ill I missed a few due to not remembering and they got really funny with me, then the dress I had ordered the designer forever yours were closing down and were only fulfilling their orders until march and as my wedding was a while away they would not do my dress, so I tried looking for a new one but I felt pressured into choosing one I did not like and when my mum tried explaining and asking for my money back they was very rude to her so kind of apprehensive about going to another shop xxx

Lol, I'm less likely to get snow in July though ! Aww really sorry about your MiL :-( Glad she's in remission though ! Valentines is a great date to get married on :-) At least H2B can't claim to have forgotten your anniversary seeing as there will be adverts on TV to remind him from about a month before haha !! I want to find one that isn't black though :-/ Will have to go shopping with the mummy nearer the time lol.. OMG, thats awful !! I'm pretty much 100% sure you just got a really rubbish shop though.. I bet the shop you get your next dress from will be perfect.. Or you could get your original dress made by she who must not be named.. People on her rate her so highly xxx

Oh god he is terrible at remembering dates of things lol I have to remember both our families birthdays, anniversary's etc lol and he likes the idea of not having to get me two gifts as our original date meant one on valentines and one the next day for anniversary lol lol always good to go on a shopping spree :)
Yeah that's what I am hoping to get better experience somewhere else, or was considering having one made cannot decide lol.. I keep putting wedding stuff off but by doing so I have been loosing out on great deals plus time seems to keep going by so quick, I mean I just looked at my ticker and it said 18months! and only the other day I was at 19! plus my 25th b-day Friday its all coming around quick so need to get my butt in gear if I want it completed at least 2 months before (that's the aim anyway lol I don't want to be rushing around last minute doing wedding stuff I want to be pampering myself and enjoying the last few weeks leading up to it) xxx

Haha, I'm lucky in that respect as my H2B is great at remembering dates :-) We have a £10 limit on valentines as it's also his eldest son and his dads birthday that month, so we have £10 limit and go sit in the stop where he proposed with a take away pizza :-)
Mines gone from 857 to 718 within the blink of an eye it seems.. Can't wait to get to under 365, less than a year away :-D I want everything possible finished 3-4 months before the wedding.. So I have time to fix anything if something doesnt go to plan lol.. xxx

So exciting ! Especially as it's a family friend so it'll be nice to have him there. Ha ha luckily because it's a family friend we've got him for the whole day for £500 so we didn't see the need to look for someone else. I do keep having to say no thank you to venues who keep asking if I'd like to look around though! When will they realise I've booked my venue? :P

Haha ! Plus, you can get away without paying full price for his cause he's not classed as a guest ;-) Unless your venue make you pay full price for his meal too ? Ours are only charging £10 if our photographer wants a 2 course meal and drink.. xxx
