Hi everyone,

Another 2015 bride here. We're getting married on 4th June, and we've booked our church and reception venues. We're holding out on booking anything else until we buy some wedding insurance - we've found the right package, but can't book it more than 2 years in advance.

Sometimes, it feels like it's ages to wait, and then at other times, I look at my list and panic that there isn't enough time to do it all in. Lol.

Just booked our photographer. Another thing off the to-do list.
All seem very real now and I am just a little bit excited

Hey everyone. So it's 2 years to our wedding, and I can now buy my insurance (yeah!). I was wondering if any of you 2015 brides have booked anything yet? I kept getting excited every time I wrote today's date, as all I could think was - I'll never forget this date!
How are everyone else's plans coming along? Has anyone made any major decisions yet?

5th Sept 2015 for me, can't wait so excited, hope using this website and the planning process makes it go quick, we got engaged Feb 2012, but we have now booked our date in with the registrar for 2pm :) and we have our venue booked now as well :)

Hi, we are getting married on 12th september 2015. We've booked the church and already started to collect bits for a sweet table and decorations. I have also started to make my own bunting as we are having a marquee. Can't wait x

Has anyone had any trouble planning getting quotes etc because i have had a few cases of people asoon as i tell the the weddings july 2015 there like oh ! And your planning it all now?

I know what you mean. The most popular/exclusive venues in my are booked up 2 years in advance!

I'm waiting till this September to book anything with deposits as I was planning on getting wedding insurance but you can only take it out 2 years in advance!

I'm August 2015 and it feels like forever! I'm trying not to organise too much other than booking the venue as I'm sure I will change my mind on things such as colour and dresses in that time! xx

@roxyd - My RSVP due date is 4th May and I know my cousin is going to text me when he see's it : 'May the 4th be with you...'
I would even put money on it !! lol..

Hi everyone,

Well, I finally got around to buying my insurance - I couldn't wait for the two year mark to come round so I could buy it, and then I get sidetracked for a week and forget all about it. D'oh!

Anyway, we're away on holiday next week with MIL, so we'll be going over the guest list and getting things like that sorted. The next big thing to sort is our photographer. I'm waiting for the fairs to start again, as that way you get to speak to several in one day.

Then I want to start looking at dresses, but I really need to loose some weight (if I can't lose it for my wedding, I'll never be able to lose it!).

I've got the card for the stationery, so I can start making mock ups so I (must remember to say we...) can decide what we're going for.

I hope everyone's plans are coming along well.

Lana - If you put Doctor Who Wedding into Et.sy sooooo much stuff comes up !! Including a ring box shaped like the phonebooth thingy.. (Sorry I don't actually watch it haha) xxx

Hi Ladies, well wedding is set for 8th August 2015, so much decided, no money saved to pay for it :( only been engaged just under a month so i have plenty of time for it all but am in my mad just got engaged mode, so many people are telling me not to plan a single thing until i have some money saved, but i want to know that everything will fit within my budget. Just cant wait for the big day :)

Good job ive got till 2015, as ive spent the last month trying to design my wedding invitations and save the date etc and am still working on it lol, plus I want to do all my decor myself for my venue, I am having a country rustic theme, ie browns and creams, wicker hearts, fairy lights etc.

Maid of honour picked
Best Man picked.
Budget wrote out.
Quotes received for DJ (we want a video dj where you have screens up showing photos of the day or music videos etc,)

Mines on a thursday ! The 9th july to be exact!

Been enquiring about registra costs for our ceremony and it £400 and that will go up over the next 2 years:( so annoyed at the bloody cheek of it! Wish they would do like in America where more or less anyone can register to conduct the ceremony! Grrr !plus a £70 for giving notice, which i have been told is just answering some questions and signing some papers

Mine is a Thursday too, but in August. Don't think I will find a wedding twin either :(

I'm getting married in the countryside on 23rd May 2015, have booked and paid deposit on venue, registrar and photographer and have been looking at ideas for flowers but that's it for me so far.
