I don't think I'd have much to put on a wedsite so might not be worth me doing, but I might hae a look on one to see if it's any good :)
Adam's brother gets married on Father's day (15th) so we're quite excited to see how the day goes so we know what were planning for with times etc cause we both get married at 1pm. It's the first wedding Adam will have been to as well (shocking?!) let alone be a part of as he's an usher so it'll be good for him to get an idea. I'll be keeping my eye open for anything we haven't considered for our own wedding too, although I doubt it as they have been really poorly prepared for it for a while!

Thanks Lana gonna have a play around now :-)
Ahhh I wish we had a wedding before our own! I've only been to three weddings and two of them were shockingly bad! Ooooh I hope Adam enjoys being an usher! x
CommentAuthorAprilS61
Oh how did a 'bad' wedding go?! I'm sure he will, I'm quite excited for him ha, saddo! We are on the top table too so it's half like my own wedding ;) x
Mr & Mrs Swan 04/04/15
CommentAuthorkittyh
haha me and my other half are in that category too! never been to a wedding as an adult - the only wedding I will go to before my own will be one of my very good friends and its a month before mine! i have already told her I will be taking notes! I can't wait to see what someone elses is going to turn out like as I have no idea how it all comes together! :) xx
CommentAuthorMattsBride
The first was in this rundown pub in the centre of town for one of my cousins - the wedding was quite early in the morning and then we went straight on to this pub and had to stay there all day and all night :( The second was at a big country hotel and there was another wedding on at the same time! Kept getting mixed up in the other wedding it was aweful! Ha ha April the wedding thief! :P That must be one long top table! x
Oh no! I couldn't imagine being in the wrong wedding ha! I'm not entirely sure how they are doing it but I know me and Adam and his mam and dad, and I think her mam and stepdad, and possibly her sister? Her dad is a bit of weirdo I've been told and is on a table with loads of peope who don't like him and he's very opinated, so should be interesting! :| x

CommentAuthorMattsBride
It was horrible! Even when we were having the wedding breakfast some random man just walked straight through to the bar! That is the most random top table ever.. Could be interesting you'll have to keep us posted :P oh dear... weird dads spell trouble! We've got a few weirdo's coming to ours.. It's going to be a very strange day.
CommentAuthorAprilS61
Haha thats mad!
At least it wont be too awkward for us being on the top table and away from it all. I cant wait for it though, I'm gunna feel like a secret judge on 4 weddings haha

Is Disneyworld in America? Also, where is the harry potter theme park? OH would love it! A couple of weeks ago when it was on tv I asked him which one was on and what happens in it as i get muddled up with them all after the 4th, and he turned round and said to me 'I can't marry a woman who doesnt get Harry Potter'! Couldn't help but laugh in his face at how serious he looked haha

I have only been to 2 weddings , and one I can't really remember as i was 8. the other was my fsil and was a boring long church ceremony, really picky posh food which was not very nice, and there was a big long break before the food. and then was a really rubbish disco and no one was told the first dance was about to start so most missed it, we caught the end. and most people left quite early.

yeah disneyworld is in florida...there's a disneyland in paris, california, i think Hong Kong and probably some other places too...we went to florida a couple of years ago but I went a few times as a kid. AMAZING! They have a brilliant Harry Potter section at Universal Studios in Florida but I think theres a Harry Potter Studios in London somewhere too...I wanna go when I am back in the UK - 7 months til then though! :) xx
CommentAuthorAprilS61
Might have to have a look into Harry Potter studios! I've got OH tickets to see the lion king in Sunderland in September for his birthday (August). My sister and BIL went in London a couple of years ago and said it was amazing so Ive got them early!
I personally wouldn't bother paying for guests transport, 1- we have enough to pay for, 2-they should be happy enough to be invited, enjoy themselves and be fed and watered!

yeah to be honest if I had extra money in my budget for transport I wouldn't want to spend it on that! but then again my venue and church are quite close to each other...i know people who have got vintage double deckers to go between ceremony and reception for a london wedding...which is pretty cool but I still think i would rather spend that extra money on something frivolous! xx
CommentAuthorAprilS61
I'm the same! I've seen a london bus one on dont tell the bride and it worked nicely, but id rather have extra entertainment for the guests or honeymoon x

Oh Lana that's where OH and I are going on honeymoon. He has been to Florida before and I've only been to the Paris one (29 soon and I LOVE Disney) OH also wants to take me to NASA so I am really excited about that as well. Harry Potter world is also about to open Diagon Ally and Kings Cross Station squeee! Just thinking about it makes me feel like an excited child :D
The best man and his family who OH has grown up around since Primary are giving us a villa there through a time share site they use as a wedding gift. We were so blown away by this and I was speechless.
We're also not paying for transport for guests but using the money to buy extra leg room on the flights to/from US. My sister has taken it on herself to organise a mini bus from the hotel she plans on staying at to take everyone though.

I went to Disneyworld and Universal Studios when I went travelling with my mate years ago, they were awesome then. If I could manage flying again I would so go again.
As a compromise OH is booking for me to go to Harry Potter studios for my birthday this year :-)

I'd love to go to Disneyworld but I think it'll be a while now, I'll be married with kids! (how weird does that sound ha?!) I wouldn't really wanna go when our non-existent children are only small, to pay all that money I would want them to be old enough to know what's going on, enjoy it and big enough to go on the rides x

My OH describes it as the best parts of The Magic Kingdom and they have Disney Studios (the second park) and Disney Village (like Downtown Disney). Why OH and I have kids we plan to take them there when they are young and probably Orlando when their young teens... eesh, look at me planning ahead

I love Florida, we are planning on going for our 1 year anniversary with the kids & about 20 of H2B's family, my mum also wants to come :D We went 3 years ago when our youngest was 7 & he pretty much got on everything, there were maybe 2 rides per park that he couldn't go on, cant wait to see how harry potter land has changed. We will probably skip disney this time though (maybe do a day at hollywood studios) & Seaworld but will definitely do universal & Island of adventures again, we also want to do busch gardens.
I feel like I haven't done anything wedding wise for ages!! It took a back seat as H2B's eldest son has his prom coming up so we've had to spend a fortune on his ticket, suit & transport. We also lost my amazing auntie, after a 10 year battle with cancer it was heartbreaking seeing my uncle & cousins so upset at her funeral. On a positive note our garden is looking amazing, the conservatory is almost finished just needs decorating inside, the decking is done, H2B has started building a huge outside bar!! Just need to lay some slabs from the decking to the shed, sprinkle some grass seed on the patches without grass & do about a million dump runs lol

Which one did you use Amanda? I've got lots if features on mine from the free site, it even linked local hotels with prices and online booking forms etc, guests can RSVP with a password, separate passwords for day and evening guests! You can link gift lists or set up one from different online shops etc
People can even ask questions, ask or offer lift sharing, choose options such as dietary requirements/meal options, choose a song ....I'll post you a link to the site and let you have a nose at what I've got on there.

Well done Christina. Wish I was finished, but more exams next week and a further 2 years of study.
Had a chat with OH last night about Disneyland and he's agreed we can go with the boys if we can afford it. YAY! Unfortunately associated hotels don't release rooms for next July until November, but will be so nice to have it to look forward to. Then we'll probably just have a weekend in Lake District as a couple when we get back - probably need it too after a week in Disneyland lol!
Picked up some vintage look photo frames for table names today from.........Poundland! Absolute bargain lol! Just need to find a larger version for seating plan now.
