Im starting to stress a little now, im back on clinical placement for 8 weeks so Im certain I wont get much done over this time. I have all sorts to do and the house sale is going to be completed any time over the next few weeks. my head is all over the place I dont know what to do 1st so ive ended up doing nothing at all over the past few weeks.
To do list:
1st fitting for my dress
get my Bm dresses in for alterations
do table plan
do place name cards
get my underwear
buy sweets fro candy cart
go see transport about ribbon colour
go see venue dresser to confirm everything
choose wedding songs
confirm numbers with venue
sort out wedding cake
get shoes for bms, groom, pageboy and my son who is giving me away
go for hair trial
get gifts for bms, best man ect
order my new passport
and probably more, that ive forgot about

Try not to panic as that will make the situation seem a whole lot worse than it is.

Is the placement full time? do you work at other times too?

Im just about to go through everything and see what we still need to do as its more than likely we will be moving very soon.

Hi Ladies
Well less than 6 weeks to go now, think I'm mostly sorted and got myself a little notebook that I can carry in every handbag etc so all my lists are in one place, now they're getting shorter.
Last night was the first night in quite a while that I could not sleep properly for thinking of things still to be done.
So have woken up quite tired today and a bit emotional, plus my stomach has the worst butterflies (caterpillars really) and getting a bad tummy ache from it :-(
Think it must be as it's my hen do the end of this week.

Yesterday was quite a tense day as well as it was FA Cup semi-final and Liverpool who my fiancé supports lost, but it's actually worked out better he's realized as wouldn't want to lose on our wedding day. Plus now he won't be doubly nervous!!
Leasa I really feel for you as up to now I had back up plans for a tv screen being set up near the bar and having to cut photos by half an hour so the meal would be finished in time.
I believe that the tv in the pub yesterday said that kick off is 5pm though so you may be ok.
We're wedding twins as our ceremonies are both 1pm on 30th May!!!!

Think it's time for another cuppa to get me through today and persuade me to go to the gym after work! Ugh men have it so much easier for wedding outfits
No need for the gym
No trying on hundreds of dresses, make up trials, hair trials, skincare regimes, hair care regimes, worries about tan lines, choosing supportive underwear that isn't visible, make up touch ups on the day
LOL , but guess it's all worth it in the end :-)

I just had my order out through, for my multi wrap dresses and they work out £58 each with shipping, for adults, and £22 for my little one.

Today a busy day for me,

I've got to go have my nails done this am then I've got my final ever dress fitting and today is the day of it finally finished as I've had a bespoke one so I'm really nervous and excited. Then got to pick up my cake pops for my hens tomorrow as it is finallymy hen do. And we reached three week marker yesterday till we fly out for our wedding so over all I'm getting more and more excited.

And I've got next two weeks slow at work due to my family away abit so I finally get to pack the cases in order to be able to enjoy my proper week off before I fly on the 14 May.

well, I have not had the chance to do much this past week, my eldest has been so ill, took him to the doctors yesterday & it turns out he has tonsilitus, my husband took 2 days off work as he felt so achey & lathargic, now hes shared the love with me & i feel terrible. At least it happens now & not during our honeymoon i suppose.

This time in 4 weeks we shall be on our honeymoon!

I have been thinking about anniversary presents for my husband too. I know I have loads of time & have only just got married, but I was thinking about a Trash the Dress or Rock the Dress shoot. I dont want to use my actual dress though so was thinking of getting a more light weight one, I have been looking for places we could do this (ruins, river, fields etc) but all I can think is that there are some lovely rocky areas in Felixstowe (where I grew up) & they have the common so a few hills & stuff.... but thats like 80 odd miles away & i cant really ask my photographer to go all the way there even if i was to drive her there lol. I like the idea of powder paints, i love the idea of water (but theres not really any clear beaches/sea anywhere close its all like a horrible grey colour for the water.) I like the idea of wooded areas. can anyone suggest anything maybe?

O&B do you have any pics with the lace bolero?
I've been growing my nails to, they are taking forever to grow though!! How did you manage to break the habit? I've been putting clear nail varnish on & instead of biting my nails I bite/peel the varnish off lol.
I also asked my MUA if I should be doing anything beauty wise to get my skin looking it's best, she just advised to exfoliate once a week which I already do!!

My H2B's sister got engaged yesterday :)

I was intending to have it as a lace overlay over the top half of the dress coming to rest touching the top of the belt but it's not quite long enough.. What do you think?

It's my hen night tomorrow night, we are all gong round the town dressed like pink ladies/ Grease :)

Me and the girls found somewhere in Plymouth that had the twist wrap dresses, and we went and they tried them on and they loved it, and looked to great on them.
Is £185 per dress there the with nothing for juniors, so are going to stick the the d41nt y4rd one which had worked out £58 per dress for adults and £25 for junior. So happy.
