It felt nice having it done as I've never had anything done before. I forgot to take my veil but I tried it when I goth home, it will sit under my hairstyle and looked great x

ive been having a nightmare contacting my chair cover people :( i messaged them with final numbers, only to find out the lady i was dealing with had left, i hadn't been told anything, so, i finally got hold of someone else that works for the company and they sent me through my final invoice,
i paid it straight away on the 25th of march, i sent an email asking for a receipt of payment and confirmation of times of setting up etc, i still havnt heard from them! ive tried emailing them 3 times in the last 34 days and ive called them and left a message 3 times, ive also put an email on their book of face pm so all bases are covered, i dont think its very good customer service to not respond at all, its making me really anxious that they wont come and do the chair covers.

Catherine, oh no. I was worried about our dresses too, but two are perfect and the largest one turned out to be too big.

Going well so far with us. Wine ordered, paying off final invoices and got overwhelmed today as got a cheque in the post from my mums aunt today which was unexpected x

The exchange policy doesn't seem to cover it and they've basically covered their arses meaning they can't be returned or refunded!

They were floor length and made to measure but the sizes were WAY out... I've just had enough of trying to sort dresses for them. Given my time again and I wouldn't have bridesmaids, not that it isn't lovely having them but the stress, money and time we've wasted on sorting a dress has been totally nuts!!

This is what we've settled for as 2 of them tried it on a couple of weeks ago and looked really good so sod it, especially as we've got to pay for them (which we hadn't budgeted for) and they are now half price!

Really like that dress Cath, shame bout the others tho! I know what you mean bout not having bridesmaids if you had your time over again, I'm beginning to feel the same way! If I had my time again I'd just have my MOH as she has been fab, she told me she will wear whatever I want to put her in lol unlike the other 2 who have pulled their faces at various things! Xx

The new dress looks lovely O&B, I agree that you should put the others on the bay to recoup some money. Says me who has 2 bridesmaids dresses taking up wardrobe space, that should have been put on eb@y ages ago!!

Could you all help me with a little issue that we are having a the moment, I need opinions!!
We are having a cold buffet & the dinnerware is causing us all sorts of trouble lol, all options that I have priced up (china,palm leaf, nice disposables) have turned out quite expensive for something that will go in the bin after. H2B is adament that we just have your basic paper/polystyrene plate which would cost hardly anything, but I just cant commit!! It just seems a little to cheap!!

Oh dear cath, hope the new dresses are OK. I would contract the hotel to check who is in charge of organising the weddings now, and go over the details.

I'm confused O&B?? The letter from your venue says they will honour your booking at the contracted price!!

Yeah what I was thinking, it's saying the the letter you posted that all contracts terms and conditions WILL be honoured.

That's rediculous, why send a letter (email) saying they will honour it, and then not.
Will they refund the deposit? Or have you got wedding insurance.
I really feel for you hun, you have had such trouble trying to get this all sorted and it's so close now trying to get it all reorganised.

Unfortunately, we've gone through our contract and spoken to the venue and it will be under new management from 30th July which is barely 2 weeks beforehand so heaven knows what a disaster the day would be :( xx

On the plus side, the 'missing in action' bm dress has arrived and looks lovely on her so that's 2 bridesmaids done so if we can get the non fitting MOH dress sorted then we've got the girls all done! At least that's something positive today :) x
