mixture of emotions setting in, this week is going way too fast, the next 2 days are jam packed with errands. it will be the big day in a blink of an eye, so exciting

So I've finished work until Tuesday and today I'm focusing on getting house in order and doing some errands as the rest we are doing tomorrow.

Also today the cats are being collected to go the cattery and I feel so guilty lol I keep telling them it's just a hol in case they think I'm sending them back lol

I keep checking the weather app like a fool
I start crying at random things then laugh so I'm either cracking up or already emotional lol

Last night at church a number of people wished us well and a few we have only said hi to in the past introduced themselves and it turned out one knew my dad and one was in school with my mum.

Tomorrow me and h2b have said we will lunch together just to spend at least an hour together without others. We will also be going to my mums grave to take some flowers and tell her about the day, h2b went there on the day he proposed to tell my mum his plans which when I found out it made me cry. We have flowers to go where she would of sat in the church which we will take to her grave Monday. Everyone has been amazing in support but I am now feeling more than ever how much I still need my mum :(

My workplace crack me up as they are always disorganised and my boss told me they had arranged some gifts but only half was there so we will have rest in. Few weeks lol

last night was the last night i was spending with my fiancé, he is staying at the hotel tonight with his best person. im feeling the nerves today, this morning we are taking things in to the venue and picking up the cake, I hope its as good as the picture looked. then im in to the beauty salon for them to spruce me up this afternoon. so excited IM GETTING MARRIED IN THE MORNING hehe

we did it, it was perfect, everything went to plan and the ceremony was so romantic we both shed a few tears and so did some of the guests. I cant wait to see the photos, when I get them I will be sure to share them with you. Thank you for all the support and advice I have received from everyone on here, think I would have struggled with out it x

I commissioned this a couple of days ago and very happy with the outcome!!

Well I'm a Mrs!
The day was so relaxed and fun :) everyone who saw me couldn't believe how chilled I was so it meant the morning was full of laughs and relaxing whilst everyone had hair and make up done.
The cathedral was beautiful and I didn't fall down the aisle lol
The museum was amazing and having the national air show happening over the bay was fab especially with the red arrows there so amazing pics. Everyone loved the food and loved the evening stuff too.
The only complaint was from a cousin who said our DJ was too good as she couldn't leave the dancer floor due to all the good music all night so nearly wet herself lol
After the reception finished loads of us returned to a hotel 2 min walk away where I changed my dress and met everyone in the bar until the early hours.

All week we have had messages and calls saying it was the best wedding people had been to as everyone was relaxed and the venues looking so amazing.

I'm so happy right now and at the same time wishing I could have the day once more lol

Ladies at times I have felt like I was cracking up during the planning of the wedding so thanks for keeping me kinda sane lol

Yep, several times and all with my cousin who thought it was ok to wear a short white dress .... With a train!! I told my Grandma and she wasn't impressed either ;)

Seriously?? They didn't think there was anything wrong in that, words fail me!

All the bridesmaids are having there fittings at 11am, suppose I'd better get dressed :)

What is wrong with people asking to wear white, its a big no no in my eyes, one of my friends sent me a pic of a dress she was thinking about getting it was mostly pink with bits of white in it which is fine, but a whole white dress NO.

Its my home hen tonight im so excited :)

Surely the fact that they're asking shows they know it's wrong as well. I wore coral to my friends wedding, it didn't cross my mind to ask her if it was okay for me to wear coral...

I wouldn't be happy either with the white dress business.

Hi ladies, we had a fantastic wedding day. everything went to plan, the wedding venue went above and beyond. we had our guests in tears of joy, we both shed a few tears ourselves during the ceremony. it was so romantic, still very much so loved up about it. Everyone had a constant smile on their face all day long. we had guest saying it was a perfect and fun day. we are slowly coming back down to reality. the photographer did us proud and has produced the most amazing photos ever, I cant stop looking at them haha. Looking forward to our honeymoon now which were going on at the end of August.

Congratulations Amanda, you look beautiful.

I became a Mrs on Friday 17th - YAY! Was an amazing day. I was unbelievably relaxed from start to finish. Just couldn't wait to get down that aisle ha ha!

The ceremony was beautiful, short and sweet, but our eldest son (who is 7) did a word perfect rendition of a Winnie the Pooh quote. When he finished the room erupted into applause and tears. The registrar couldn't believe he had memorised the whole thing. We were proud beyond words and so glad we had the day videoed just for that! Our youngest (3) also danced down the aisle :-)

The rest of the day was a whirlwind; speeches were lovely and hilarious, food was amazing, everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. The cake was beautiful, exactly as I imagined it, and tasted great (although I only got a small slice!). We had a magician during the photos and caricature in the evening and everyone has saod how axing they were and what good ideas. All I've seen all over FB is caricatures popping up as profile pictures ha ha.

Our first dance was a little awkward (were not big dancers) but really enjoyed it and everyone joined in near the end. DJ was awesome and right at the end I had a dance with my dad (who was very drunk bless him) to Oasis and we another 'first dance' before the DJ wrapped up. We also had lifesize cardboard cutouts of Elvis (first dance), Michael Jackson and Rod Stewart by our dancefloor (as our theme was music) which went down a storm! Everyone has said it's one of the best most relaxed weddings they have bee to


All in all an amazing day we'll never forget.

Has anyone been told when their wedding rehearsal is? We are getting married in a CofE church & the vicar told us that we would have a wedding rehearsal prior to the day, well its under 2 weeks away & no date has been set?
