Wow Steffie - you are organised ha...I tried on 2 dresses on Friday and that's the closest I've come to deciding on it...although have booked my venue, photographer and DJ.

Sian-Louise I'd get your photographer booked as soon as you can, the best ones go really quickly and we got a really good deal on ours coz it was 18 months before.

Yeah they can be - just go with a budget in mind - although I love wedding pics, personally I refused to pay more than £700 for them as other things take priority for our wedding...as well as only wanting a digital package and not an album package, which also kept the cost down...but do your research of what's on offer and you'll get an idea of what you're prepared to pay for.

Anything else you want help with, check out the other threads, there are loads of bargain / cutting costs ones that I just love (not being a cheapskate - just on a budget!)

Hi everyone. We got engaged Xmas day just gone after 7yrs together. We were hoping to get married 23rd july 2012 but it looks like we are goin to have to change the date as the church doesn't have much availability. Havnt done anything yet!! But once we get dates available for our venue we can book the church and venue together. My friends and family keep saying it's too early to be looking for things but things get booked so far in advance.

Oooh DeeC it's never too early ha! But venue / church is No1 priorty!!! get them booked asap... We're the 27th July 2012 and have got our venue, photographer & DJ booked already. Started getting stuff for table centres and all stationery now too. x
