Hi all that are getting married in 2012. My lovely fiance proposed on the eve of his 40th birthday september last year. We have set the date for 19th October 2012. Still looking at where to have the reception but thinking its never too early to book, will give us an idea of how much is left in the budget haha.

Im getting married 1st December 2012 so far booked and deposits paid on Church, Reception, reception decor, accommodation. Bought all my stationery card/paper and embellishments, all the thank you gifts except for our boys as we are stuck on what to get them. Wedding dress, garter and shoes and bridesmaid dress. This month is really tight as council tax, for both our properties has come in and water rates at a whopping £1,280 damn south west water!!! xxx

I finally am getting somewhere :D Managed to book a florist yesterday and see the perfect car at a wedding fayre today :D and was really cheap only £180 instead of £800 that I nearly paid. Have my church, reception and dress......still have a way to go but finally getting bits booked xx

My Date got Changed Yesterday! :) We are now 16th June 2012 will be booking Things hopefully next week as i have been doing a lot of overtime to raise some cash so we have enough to put deposits down :D But i'm soo excited after all the awful problems we had in relation to getting married this year! Steven Chose to bring it forward! (After i said we'd wait until the end of next year)xx

I have nothing booked so far, and am only just a tiny bit worried! We are having the reception on my sisters land and her husband owns a company that rents out domes (they have been on the sky dancing programme thing) and they are putting up two of those for us - so have the venue sorted. We have chosen 27th July 2012, but we cannot officially book the church until a year before, so have a couple of months to go before we can confirm that. I'm not too worried really, as soon as we have officially booked the church then we can get started on planning properly. I am really impressed with how much some of you ladies have done already!

Just had a quick but serios chat wih h2b about the wedding he wont look at things I show him we've only put a deposit on venue/reception nothing else and i think he needed a good kick up the **** lol so I sat him down and told him that we need to sort out exactly how much everything will be and we need to start deciding on things together I was very firm and put my foot down and now his on his laptop looking at suits etc lol go me just thought i'd share that hows everyone getting on x
im on a go slow now,got dress ordered, venue and church booked,flowers paid,invites and save the dates sorted,got my shoes and underwear and tiara,favours sorted,balloons,dj and photographer also sorted,rings bought,so cant do much more at this moment

wow youve done loads i just write lists of things i need to sort and search for ideas on the net but not really got round to doing much booking yet lol venue is sorted and thats it for the big things got a few accessories bms shoes my headband and some bits of stationary but thats it lol need to get with it lol x

it seems like plenty of time but its going so fast seems like only yesterday i was on here it it said getting married in 23 months now its down to 19 lol x
wen i first joined i had 21 months then me and h2b fell out so deleted my account then got back together and i signed back up at 12 months to go and i honestly can say it had flown x

I did that too Mrs handforth and i was on three gold stars lol still at the time i had 16 months to go then when i signed up again we moved it forward now we've moved it back again and i now have 14 months. but i'm happy with it

Were getting married on 20th July 2012 :) so far we have booked the church and venue and have arranged transport but thats only because its through family. Also have brought invitations but got to sit and write them all before we send them lol. x
