We are hoping to get married May 2011 but haven't booked anything yet, have so far just done ALOT of looking about. H2b wants to marry on a wednesday for some reason so hopefully that will make gettin our chosen date easier (and cheaper)

wow, we're planning on getting married 25th of June too! Haven't sent anything out yet as we haven't chosen our venue, so I want to leave it flexible.

Hi ladies!
We are getting married on the 29th May 2011. We have booked the venue, ordered our invitations and planning on handing in the deposit tomorrow to the registrar to secure our date. We have also picked out our photographer and the deposit for that should be paid in the next couple of weeks. Apart from that I have a folder on my laptop of all our ideas and budget etc. I would say I'm pretty well organised considering we only got engaged on Christmas day. Go me!!!

Hi everyone, we are hoping to get married March/April 2011. We found a venue we really love and can get married there too... Saying our vows facing the seafront is peachy for us!! Has anyone checked out weddings for a grand forum on Martin Lewis money expert.com? Thats how we found our venue... even though I live about 5 minutes from it!! 21st September 2011 is our date! i'm so excited we've now got our venue booked and registra (thanks to a contact hehe) and also have the cake sorted. I am going to try some dresses on tomorrow for the first time so im excited about that too! Suddenly though i'd better find some matching underwear, couldnt find any so ended up going and buying some heheh how come you can never find matching underwear clean at the same time or is that just me hehe.

hi, we are getting married 21st may 2011, i have hand made all our save the dates frigde magnets, invites, table plan as much as pos, venue booked, flowers, photographer, videographer, cars, wedding dress and accessories, favours, church, chair covers and have sourced the attendance outfits and accessories, i think all that i have left to sort is the dj. hope everybody is enjoying the planning of their weddings, the only problem i have now is that im bored as everything is bascially done apart from paying for it xx

We're getting married 6th August 2011 as well Vikki. We looked at local weddings (but with just evening reception) and the prices were extortionate!!! We've now booked Gretna Green - booked through one of their online packages - and have our venue, photographer, reception and hotel booked. I've seen a Beauford for £140 so the car is the next thing. There's only 20 of us going then after the honeymoon (not yet booked) we're going to have a party for more family and friends back in Leeds. Oh, and just ordered the save the date magnets...

Hi Frankielynn. We're getting married at Gretna Green as well, on the 6th August 2011. Have you booked a venue yet? We're getting married at Gretna Hall, in the Linton Suite, then reception at Solway Lodge at Gretna. We're staying at Solway Lodge as well. Are you booking one of the wedding packages? We did that (www.gretnaweddings.co.uk) - but just the venue and photography - the car we're booking with gretna cars (http://gretnaweddingcars.co.uk/cars) and having the Beauford as it's such a good price.

April 29th 2011 for us. Done alot of looking booked the venue and photographer the other day just need to pay deposits by the end of the month. And ive found the perfect dress (see my profile) just need to wait till next month to buy it :-(

We're hoping to get married saturday 12th november 2011 (our five year anniversary this time round) but I'm having to wait to find out about LFC football matches before I can book anything as my dad will not miss a match (wouldn't be a problem if H2B wasn't evertonian lol) but it should be sometime that month. Was thinking 11th or 13th if cant get the twelth, but I feel a bit odd having it on remembrance day/sunday though we did get together on a remembrance sunday.

We are going to have our favours something to do with a charity, maybe help the heroes or something we are also having poppies and having a special mention in the speeches of how important the day is not only to us but to alot of others with it being rememberence day. so i feel quite comfortable with it being the 11th but i understand what you mean. oh and it falls on a friday and most of the remembrance things will be on the sunday. gx

Im getting married on the 23rd July 2011 and I have sooo much to do.
I have organised a DJ, I have my flowers, the bridesmaid dresses are bought, guest book and decorations for the venue are bought. Invitations are in the process of being made. Church is booked and venue is provisionally booked - im really panicking though coz thats all ive done!
oh and i have my tiara! x
