I went to my 1st wedding fair today, and i loved it. It was at our venue as well which helped us to get some brilliant ideas. We also got a lot of quotes for certain things, and because our wedding is on a wednesday. they were so much cheaper :D All in all, a brilliant day :)

i was also at a wedding fayre today it was fantastic it was also at my venue lol booked my hen night at the spa while i was there had a great day glad you enjoyed yours huni.xxx

I went to one today too. Moat house eturia. Wasn't that great as missed the catwalk shows (sil2b stupidly invited mil2b - nothing wrong with her as a person just she aches a lot in the cold so have to keep stopping to let her sit down) but saw some brooch bouquets 300 quid! And as h2b said I can't have the cake I want saw another one which suits us both (will upload pic in album in min).

Glad you had a good time at your first wedding fair, getting married on a week days is great is'nt it (so much cheaper lol) we are getting married on a Monday and saving quite a bit.

Its took me ages to find one, that has been the worst thing to sort, everything else sorted. Going to see one tomorrow hopefully he will be ok. He has quoted us £400.00.

Well to be honest I dont think your gonna find one cheaper than 385.00, my cheapest was 350.00 but he wanted 200.00 up front and i did'nt want to risk it in case he did a bunk, so going with 400.00 with a 50 quid deposit but was gonna have a family member at one point with a decent camera but not professional. You have to cut your coat according to your cloth and amateur photos are better than none so if thats all your budget will allow go with that. If i dont like this guy tomorrow will be sticking with my family member doing it, at the end of the day you only need one decent piccie to put on your wall and the rest get shoved in a draw or loft, what a waste of money.

There is a guy at the hospital who advertises for 200. Have e-mailed him to see if he does weekday weddings. If he does will speak to him regarding the vile border he puts on all his wedding photos on his website then will probably book him.

How long are you guys getting your photographers for at those prices? I HATE photos so only want one for as short a time as possible. Hopefully this will decrease costs too!

We hate having our photo's taken so this has been difficult for us. We are getting married at 3.20pm at registrar so we will meet up with photographer there (did'nt want him at our house taking snaps of us getting ready) then he said we can stop off anywhere onroute to venue(but wont be doing that as it will be monday rushhour, not a good idea) a few snaps at venue with cake etc then he said he will be gone by the time we are due to eat which will be 7.00pm. But we will get unlimited photo's on cd and 2 slide shows to music for this price or we could have album for £420.00.

My photographer has quoted us £250 and she's giving us a photobooth and a slide show for the evening guests of the ceremony pics plus all of the pics on a DVD :) a videographer today told us that he'd knock £50 off the price cos its on a Wednesday. My Aunty owns a cake shop so she'll be making our cake ( more than likely as a wedding present ) xx :)

It's a friend I went to school with. A girl as well so I won't mind her snapping pics of me n my girls having hair and make up done. Plus she's brilliant. I've seen weddings she's done before and she has such a good eye for pictures :) and she's said that if there r any pics I want printing she'll do them for 50p each xx

Has anyone ever been to the National Wedding Show in London or Birmingham ?? I really want to go. Xbox Widow I realised yesterday how lucky we r to have booked her. I saw the prices of some of the photographers and that was just for the photographer. She's giving us the photobooth and slide show in that price :). Jellybean, there seems to be 1 every weekend near where i live lol. But i'm without a car at the moment so i'm finding it difficult to get to them x
