newbie here!!!! i need ideas for a 1st dance sone thats not to mushy but still romantic..... and something that suits our ages (24 and 27) thanks x x :D 12 weeks 3 days to go,.......woohoo :D

not really no...... we never really listened to anything together when we were 1st together..... just niche and stuff cuz we had his sister living with us.... now if were not working we watch sops or films.... were not really music people we just put radio on if we fancy some music.

is there a song you both like from a film that you could use instead? sometimes songs hit us when we least expect and it maybe something both u and h2b like without realising xox

well im not particularly organised and figured what will be will lol, am getting excited more now as each day passes - thankfully no wedding nightmares - phew
Mrspearson it wont be long for you either, its scary at how quickly time flies by when ur down to under 100 days, i can no longer cope on day countdown as it makes me realise how near we are so have gone into hour countdown, currently we are on 98 hours left lol xox

color scheme is navy and yellow from the mens waistcoats so that has been carried into the flowers, our girls are in black dresses as i dont like yellow dresses and didnt see one single navy dress when we were looking. Fod wise is a carvery as have major fussy guests attending figured they can do self service n still moan haha.
ONly things left to do will be my dress getting steamed tomorrow along with my veil, acrylics being done (will come out of the salon high i think from all the fumes) and just got a few favors to resort and im all done and dusted.
Thing is last time i blinked i did have 12 weeks left as it was christmas time lol its really mental how quickly time passes the nearer you get, you think you have time and then BAM the last week has snuck upon you!! xox

Best idea to do is google first dance songs or popular choices for first dance songs.
If that fails pick something thats current and slowish with fitting words (may have to google for the lyrics tho)
something more current which is nice is JLS love you more but there are definitely songs from all music genres that can be used, trial and error and perserverance needed on this one xD xox

We are having Frank Sinatra ' I get a kick out of you' as its rather cheeky and we have a live swing singer to sing it for us and change the line but obviously you don't adore me to obviously you just adore me. I've seen lots on you tube have things like come fly with me too so it doesn't have to be a mushy song just something you both like.

hi and welcome lol me and h2b are both 23 (24 by monday) lol and we kept finding songs that were a bit to mad for a first dance then i got a live lounge cd and we're now having black eyed peas gotta feeling but a completely different version nobody would expect maybe try something like that or I would just go for a song from a fav film or something x

We're doing a fun first dance, we're having the dirty dancing song n doing all the moves to it for a laugh! Hate weddings that are all serious. our 2nd dance is for our daughter which we'll be dancing with her to "isn't she lovely" so should be good =D oh and then a dance with my dad to "dance with my father again" x

A friend and her new hubby had their first dance to Celebration by Kool and the Gang! :)
