My 2 young bridesmaids have managed to turn into 4.....dont ask! H2b doesn't see the point in having any for our UK reception so I'm still only allowed £165 to cover as much as I can by way of dresses, tights, shoes, accs, cardis etc! Nightmare!! Will be 5, 2x6 & 9. The theme is White & soft gold if anyone has any ideas at all?? X

Have a good look on bay of e for the dresses. Or try plain white dresses and add your own light gold ribbon belt? x

I was gonna say, hunt around now while all the sales are on. You'll be able to get pretty white dresses that don't necessarily have to be flower girl dresses or from a bridal range, and you can add a gold ribbon around it yourself. You'll get shoes etc in the sales too! I'd look in all the high street stores and supermarkets right now :) x

I have found plain white (although its listed as ivory) dresses in Debenhams for between £18-£20 and they have all the sizes you need. All you would need if you wished to add a touch of gold would be to buy some ribbon or organza (can be found on ebay) and add round the waist. Have added link to your wall for the dresses.

Also for flowergirl shoes I found mine in Asda for £5 and also Tesco had similiar ones too for about the same price. xx

i got 2 new BHS dresses of bay of e for £30. And two brand new monsoon mmarabou capes also from bay of e for £30 including postage. If I had bought them from the actual shops I would have spent £180 on them! yikes. SO i got a total bargain getting both items for £60. You just have to search daily for the things you need from bay of e, or search once and save the search to send you daily emails. Thats what i do and I get LOADS of emails every day from ebay!

I have has amazing experiences from ebay and have bagged a lot of bargins, including my flower girl's dress. You can always get one with a different colour ribbon and change it. It doesn't have to be exact when you buy from ebay!

Awww bless you. Sounds like you had a good night last night. I got my flower girls dress a size bigger than what she will be in Sept so we can always take it in if need be. I got two for £15 one in a 3 and one in a 4 so I know one will fit and for that price I can't grumble. It was easier for me with just having the one flower girl though. Ebay does have some shops on it that do flower girl dresses from the states and china which are rather cheap so that could be another option to you.

Ps Asda have some great little cardies and shrugs in too that you could put with the dresses and you can always ask the mums to help out with shoes and tights etc.
