I'm not so sure I would spend that much even if I had loads of money. I've never had a lot of money and I think I would feel bad if I spent that on one day. I know a bride is supposed to feel good on the day but I think my budget wedding will be everything I want.

Yeah she needs a few lessons in haggling lol

I guess if you have the money you spend it how you like.
As long as she and her husband are happy each to their own.

Hmm, if I had that kind of money (as in, I was a multi-millionaire), I'd definitely be able to spend that lol. £100k isn't THAT much these days: eg designer dress, shoes, lingerie, veil etc could easily = £4-5k; designer suit and shoes for H2B = £3k; designer BM dresses and shoes = £4k; the photographer we're getting (I wouldn't change them lol), plus albums, = £4k; top-quality wine and champagne for the meal and toast for 70 people = £7k; open bar = £6k; that's £29k already without rings, venue, food, music, etc; and that's for 70 people.

I think it's crazy to get into debt though, so I'd be interested to know how they financed it.

I don't know how it was financed as I missed the start of the programme but her husband looked like he was 20 years older than her and she was about I would say 35 and very pretty. She had planned her day every day for a year and a half. Hmmm something tells me it was all his money she was spending, but I could be wrong.

They had everything, her venue looked like it was built extending out over the sea, she even had what seemed like contortionists balancing balloons in strange positions on podiums. It all did look beautiful but I must say she did slate another girl's wedding quite a bit by saying "It's just a hotel, nothing special" now this hotel was city centre, massive and looked like it was brand new and in no way looked cheap. I wanted to slap her lol.

That is an amazing amount of money to spend on a wedding! Each to there own I guess but really? Surely the money would be better spent on more than just one day! Oh how the other half live..... x

if I had that money it would not be wasted on the wedding -honeymoon maybe but not the wedding, although I wouldn't have to wait until 2014 if I had that much going spare

She obviously did the show to show the world how much money they have. I was hoping one if the other girls would win because the prize is a 5 star honeymoon and she obviously doesn't need any freebies lol

This programme always annoys me when there are brides doing their wedding for around £3000 and cant afford a honeymoon and then there are people spending tens of thousands of pounds who can afford a honeymoon going up against them and then the brides spending tens of thousands wins it! But if I had £150,000 it would be going on a house, not a wedding! xxx

Sometimes the ones with the cheaper weddings win though. There was one episode in particular on the uk one where this girls wedding was in the upstairs room of a pub and her family were really knew how to get the party started and she won. Although I must admit I don't think the uk one is quite as serious as the USA one
