got my 12week scan on wed can any1 tell e wht 2 expect i had early scan at 5 wk and showed no heartbeat which i was told was normal am scared incase a heartbeat cant b seen again should i c a heartbeat plz help

Hi hun, just noticed nobody replied! Expect to see your fully formed wee person despite only being 12 weeks lol arms legs hands the lot lol I loved my scans although I couldnt see a nose at any of them so thought my son didnt have one (I was highly strung and very hormonal). Pleased to report he was born with a fully functioning nose lol x

hiya i thought mine looked fairly well formed at 12 week scan hands and feet are still stumpy though they are so small theres loads of room and normaly you get to see a tiny little person doing acrobatics in your belly lol it will be lush x

H2b came to my 12 week scan. Even tho he has 2 older sons. He said "we'll only see a little blob" lol, he was suprised at how much our baby looked like a little person. you should see a flicker in the chest area on the screen. That will be the baby's heart beating :)

normally u cant see a heart beat as early as in the first few weeks i think the earliest is about 6/7weeks... I haven't had one of those early scans... and had only one at 11/12 weeks with bad news... dont wanna scare u bad things can happen sometimes in life... hoping everything will be ok... the more u worry the more u stress your self and its more likely to happen... *big hugs* let us know when u had it and put pics up!!! *holding my fingers crossed for you*
How exciting i loved having my 12 week scan it made her feel so real, just remember to breathe and chill, very tense time but to see that little bub on screen is priceless. Good luck and cant wait to see the little peanut/jellybean xx

Oh wow, so excited for you! I broke down in tears at our 12 week scan with our daughter - we'd been trying for so long and had had a lot of heartache, so when the sonographer said there's the heartbeat, I just said there's a heartbeat?! and burst into tears! Aww hun it's such a wonderful experience - our scan pictures was really clear - we could see her fingers, face and everything - she looked like the cutest little baby alien! Good luck hun, please keep us updated! x

Mine was quite well formed for 12 weeks, she had legs and arms and she was bouncing around everywhere and couldn't keep still!
