when we set the date the 1st thign we said was we wanted a small wedding.
I am trying to work out what happened as we have 100 for the wedding ceremony and breakfast.

I know we ended up inviting more more after my dad passed away but i am feeling more nervous now there are so many people timing is going to be so tight.

Maybe we should have just run away lol

I was like look it is fine it is a wedding the band will play a lil later etc but now i am sat worrying it will all be rushed and not as relaxed as we wanted our wedding to be.

We wanted a small wedding too.. Just family to the day, no friends whatsoever.. Turns out I have a much bigger family than I realised, making up 60ish of the 87 long guest list ! Just counting on some of the more distant relatives to say no now ! X

I think as long as you relax the day will flow perfectly.

I've been doing some readjusting of the day/evening guest list and keep bumping people up to the day bit and am left with less and less people to arrive in the evening! Number crunching is not easy!

We thought exactly the same, well middle amount, we planned on 70 for day 100 max for night however the day has already now crept up to 83 and that's with 8 of h2b's friends being single at the mo(they could have partners by the time we get married!) and the night is at 120 also before what I've said about friends possible partners, I'm also hoping to get into uni in sept so will possibly want to invite some uni friends too... It's good our venue can cater up to 120 for day and 200 for night but it's not the point, the extra cost is ridiculous x

Oh wow!! more the merrier i'd say...dont panic everyone will have a fab time!
We were opting for a small wedding especially as the room at the venue we fell in love with is maximum 55... well 60 inc photographer/videographer etc... but 55 guests (inc bride and groom)... which was fine, as we were thinking on 40 for day and 80 for night, until we realised 45ish were family.
So we thought ah well 55 for day and then max 80/90 for evening. I think its now on to 130(ish) mom keeps finding more people to invite!

Yeh most venues recommend half hr-45min per course..and then about half hr for speeches... x
