Had my first fitting yesterday!!!! Oh my god…the Eternity Bridal dress was more beautiful than I remembered! I genuinely felt like a princess. I don't think i've ever looked at myself and felt happier! I was worried about it fitting, but actually they are going to have to take it in which was a very pleasant..and expensive..surprise. But Im absolutely thrilled to have to find the money for that!

Oh i really wish I could post a picture but I have family that reads my updates and I don't want them to seeee yet!

Had a meeting with our day planner at the venue….feeling so much more calm now. I realise she really does have a handle on everything and I just need to manage the little bits and pieces .. all the fun stuff like ordering desserts for our dessert table! NOM NOM NOM!!!!

Feeling really excited though seriously craving a pepperoni pizza right now! This wedding diet might just kill me! I'm hoping to lost 10 more lbs before the day but i'm having such cheeky cravings. So hard to ignore! Luckily the OH came home and made a big salad with chick peas and tuna before I caved and called papa johns!!!

Not too much to report really….I was trying to find cake pops and I think i've found someone to make them. She's sending over some tasters for us this week so that'll be a nice treat! I feel like we've gotten a lot done now which is good because just FIFTY days to go!!! errrrrmagod! Soooo close!

Oh annnnd two of the drama students that Ry used to teach have offered to sing a cappella before the ceremony starts. They will be singing lots of old love songs for the 30 minutes before the ceremony!!! I think that'll be sooo lovely and special!

Today I had my Sienna-X tan fitting with James at the W Hotel..I've never had a spray tan before and I really wasn't sure what to expect! I have to say..i've always felt like spray tans looked a bit ..meh!? BUT it was an absolutely fantastic experience! Honestly! James spoke to me all about what kind of tan I wanted and offered to see me again if I felt i wanted to be a bit darker for the wedding…I felt so comfortable the whole time and he was sooo lovely!

I think I am supposed to get a bit darker art eh day goes on but it already looks wonderful!!! Also, I asked him about his pricing (I have a feeling I am going to want to do this again… like for sure) and its £40 for a tan. Now…I realise that is a big chunk but it is somehow less than I was expecting!? (Too many years living near NYC I think). I will definitely be going back that before special occasions!!!!

I am so pale that the thought of having a spray tan frightens the crap out of me. I have visions of looking like an Oompah Loompa so am just having to embrace the English Rose look!

hahaha I was really worried about that too Emma!!! I def don't look like an oomph loompa but I do think I may be a taaaaaad more tan than I want to be. I have to see how it fades after another shower. Im planing on getting the tan on Monday for my thursday wedding..so I'll see how it looks tomorrow!!!

How in the world are we 33 days away!!?!?

I cannot believe how quickly this is all happening! Can 33 days be right?!

Made a bunch of payments yesterday (gulp) and that hurt a bit. Thanks to UKBride we''ve been able to afford our dream wedding…I don't know HOW we would've done it without them. Long story short…we would've had to cancel and change the plan. I am just amazed it all worked out.

Oh my gosh. Today marks 16 days… I truly cannot believe it! We still have things to do…gulp but they will get done for sure. Right now I'm focusing on readying the house for my mum who flies over next Thursday!!! Unbelievable!!!!

I have to say, Ry and the in-laws have been amazing helping with the house. He's done so much cleaning and tidying and they came over and totally revamped our garden so it's a lovely space for morning tea!! I can't wait to show my mum the new flat. SO proud of it! and so excited for all this! i feel a little overwhelmed with all the last minute lose ends but I know it'll all get sorted with no problem!!

Heard from Kuoni today…they are mailing out our plane tickets for the honeymoon next week!!! And Buccament Bay have given us the honeymoon upgrade so we'll have candlelit dinner on the beach, a sunset cruise, 'romantic turndown', sparking wine on arrival wooo!

all just feels unreal!!!! 6 more days of work and then 3 weeks off!!!

Have most things sorted now! Just last minute details! Finalising the table plan and program, etc! Feeling insanely blessed at the moment!!! My mom arrives in 3 sleeps! The countdown is literally keeping me up at night! I have 3 more days in the office, and one working from home and then I'm off for 3 weeks. Not sure how I can concentrate but I am going to have to!!! So much on at work at the moment!!!

Sorry for being so MIA!!! So many little details to plan!!! I cannot believe its 1 day to go...

Tomorrow I head to the seamstress, pick up my dress, and check into my hotel…

This week has been amazing. Family and friends have flown in from America and we've all enjoyed wonderful pampering!!! On Friday, my mom and I went to get our hair done (no roots on the wedding day) and then Saturday we did a good ol' eyebrow threading session. Yesterday my bridesmaids and I all went for our spray tan with James and Sienna-X. It was FANTASTIC and everyone has texted me this morning saying they look fantastic!!!

Today the in-laws and my family all met for the first time which was incredible. Such an emotional day …so full of love!!!

Everything is basically sorted now! Rehearsal nibbles and drinks tomorrow and then it is the WEDDING DAY!!!!!!

I've been crying so much..just so happy…I feel like I am going to need sooo many make up touch ups on Thursday!!!
