I am a wedding celebrant with over six years experience and prior to this was a wedding planner for over 14 years. I travel throughout England and Europe, with all costs included in the price quoted.

The way I work would be for us to have an initial chat over zoom, or whatsapp, to introduce ourselves and get an idea of the style of ceremony you would like
My website www.jmcelebrant.com includes a video of some of the ceremonies I've performed to give you some ideas. Following this, we would meet again in person for a more in depth meeting so I can begin to write your script.
My fee includes - Unlimited meetings,
Writing your script, (including all research into Your Story (which forms the main part of your ceremony.
Being available to answer any questions no matter how small.
Helping to write or sending examples of vows/promises, rituals, readings etc, which you may wish to include.
A rehearsal
All Travel.

Having gathered so much experience as a wedding planner, I'm more than happy to share any tips and advice to help your ceremony run smoothly.
My aim is to make your ceremony fun, relaxed and very personal. With lots of laughter, the odd tear and lots of 'ahh' moments!

Top Wedding Tips
Always eat something prior to your wedding. You need something in your stomach to help you concentrate and focus. Its a long day and you'll need all your energy
Ensure you are hydrated throughout the day. It's easy to get light headed with heat and/or nerves.
Remember, a Celebrant wedding should be relaxed and fun. Tiny mistakes make people laugh and add to the very happy atmosphere.

Jenny was the celebrant for our wedding at Minley Manor in October 2023. She put so much thought and effort into making our ceremony personal and special. This included coming to our house to get to know us and speaking with a few of our close friends in order to draft the script of "Our Story", a special retelling of our journey to marriage. She helped us to write our own personal vows and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable before the day. On the day, Jenny was professional, warm, kind and funny and delivered an incredible ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye in the room and more than one person commented that it was the most personal ceremony they had been to. Thank you so much Jenny for making our day so special!!

Perfection from start to finish
Working with Jenny is the absolute dream. Her attention to detail is unmatched - she took the time to truly get to know my now husband and I, both through us and our friends, as well as dive into the ins and outs of our love story. Our ceremony was personalised and so ‘us’ thanks to Jenny. We unexpectedly moved abroad during the wedding planning stage and Jenny was there asking if we needed help with anything (in addition to her lovely ceremony prep). Truly went above and beyond. Jenny will definitely remain a friend to us for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much for everything, Jenny!

We love Jenny! Would recommend her in a heartbeat!
Jenny was our wedding celebrant and we could not have wished for anything more or anyone better! She was absolutely incredible. As a person, Jenny is so warm, kind, fun and made us feel at ease/comfortable right from the beginning. From the planning phase, she was there to guide us through what the ceremony would be like, she took the time to visit and speak to us to get to know us better, she helped answer questions on anything we were doubtful of, even if slightly unrelated. When speaking to our friends who all were in different time zones, she did not hesitate to take calls early morning. Our friends absolutely loved speaking with her and all said they had such a great time. Jenny took the time to have a rehearsal with us at our venue and even worked with a last minute change in location which we were truly grateful for. She led our ceremony incredibly well. All of our guests loved how natural and personal the ceremony was. She spoke so clearly, so emotionally yet keeping it lighthearted which is exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Jenny in a heartbeat and cannot thank her enough!

Jenny - wonderful celebrant!!
Jenny is a truly fantastic celebrant! From start to finish, she was incredibly supportive and made us feel at ease. Everyone at the wedding said what an amazing ceremony it was - we loved hearing back our story and seeing our guests enjoy it too. Jenny comes highly recommended, I just wish we could do the whole day again!

Jenny, you are amazing!
We hired Jenny to be our celebrant for our garden wedding last weekend - and we were incredibly happy with our decision!
Jenny was super professional throughout the process, arranging face to face meetings with us both and individually to gather as much information as possible many months before the event. She also got in contact with our maid of honour and best man to get their thoughts on us as a couple ahead of writing her speech.
On the big day, Jenny delivered on her promise and made a perfect speech, full of sentiment, humour and character. On a wet and windy day, she brought life and warmth to the occasion and set us and the guests up for the rest of the day.
We really couldn't recommend Jenny highly enough.

Meet the Owner
I was a wedding planner for a number of years and have been a Celebrant for just over 6 years. Deciding to become a Wedding Celebrant is one of the best decisions I've ever made and I absolutely love it. I've always enjoyed writing, so to be able to write my couples love story and their entire ceremony, is brilliant. For info... a Celebrant is someone who will write, produce, direct and perform a totally bespoke ceremony. Your ceremony may be performed anywhere of your choosing without any documentation or legal paperwork. You still need your legal paperwork from the Registry Office (this takes about 10 minutes) Initially we meet via zoom or face to face and chat about the type of service you would like. A traditional one - similar to a church wedding without the religious content . However, with a Celebrant led ceremony, you can include prayers or religious readings if this is something you wish to do. Or you could have something completely different.. The main element is Your Story - how you got to this point in your lives and this should be fun as well as reflecting your love and commitment to each other. I write everything (that's why it is a totally bespoke ceremony) and you have complete control over your script. I like to make your guests laugh, cry and have the odd 'ahh' moment! This is all about you and we work as a team to make your ceremony incredible. Following our zoom chat, we will meet in person and have a more in depth meeting to help me get to know you both better. My prices include as many meetings as required, changes to your script right up to your wedding day, all travel, a rehearsal and conducting your ceremony. We will have lots of fun working together as a team, to make your wedding an incredible day for you both.
