Aswanley Wedding Venue

Hello! We are delighted that you are considering Aswanley as the setting for your wedding day. Aswanley is situated in the River Deveron valley, on the edge of the Grampian Highlands near Huntly. It’s been a much-loved family home for many generations and it’s a wonderful place for weddings. The secluded fortified house, magical gardens and Victorian barn make an unusual wedding venue suitable for both large wedding receptions and intimate family gatherings. Depending on the time of year, we also have exclusive access to a 17-bed Lodge and their three bedroom Farmhouse on the next door estate. We can have a chat about your plans and discuss venue availability. Viewings: The next step is to organise a viewing. Viewings include a tour of the venue and grounds and an opportunity to ask questions – come with a list! Viewings last approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour and are normally scheduled Monday – Friday between 9am-5pm; Saturday 9am – 12 midday. However, if these times are tricky, we are happy to organise an alternative time on request. Remote viewings are also available. They last approximately 30 minutes. We will show you around using Zoom – starting from the exterior of the barn, walking through the interior ceremony spaces, reception and dining options, then up to the gardens around the house to finish.
