I creat elegant bespoke cakes that look so good you would never want to cut it and taste so good you want want to keep eating it. I am a passionate baker and I love what I do.

Let me introduce myself .
I am Sandra the face behind Sandra’s Cakes St Andrews.
I am married to Stewart and I have 3 grown up children and two grand pups.
I was born here in St Andrews and I am so lucky to live on the East side of Town just a six minute walk to the beach.

I love what I do and the things I love about my job are meeting couples and getting to hear their wedding plans, sitting whiling away the hours creating beautiful sugar flowers (I can loose hours in a day) and designing and creating beautiful bespoke wedding cakes for my couples to enjoy.

I also love learning new techniques and spent a fabulous five days last June at cake school with Paul Bradford at Strathardle Lodge. I had such a great time and met four other great cake designers, that I am off again this year for another busman’s holiday in May.

I love searching for and trying out new recipes, my family are always willing tasters.

As you can probably tell I am obsessed with cake but I also enjoy a round of golf, a game of tennis, a night out with the girls, good food and lots and lots of family time.

£325 - £650

All my cakes are made with the best of ingredients, so that every cake tastes as good as it looks. All of my fillings are homemade and I use either Swiss meringue or Italian meringue buttercream I work on my own so I only take on one cake per week ensuring That your dream cake and has my full attention. I ask for a £100 deposit to secure your date and once I receive it I will not take on another cake that week. I love what I do and the things I love about my job are meeting couples and getting to hear their wedding plans, sitting whiling away the hours creating beautiful sugar flowers (I can loose hours in a day) I offer complimentary Tea and Cake consultations at my studio in St Andrews Recommended supplier at Cambo Country House, Pratis Barn, Earlshall Castle, Falside Mill, Kinkel Byre, Rufflets Country House Hotel, The Old Course Hotel I offer gluten free cakes
