The Stifford Hall Hotel is a beautiful converted Georgian Manor house which dates back to the 18th century and is set in six acres of landscaped gardens. Full of classic charm and character, whilst retaining much of its original features alongside comforts expected of a modern hotel.

Most couples fall in love with the venue once they are here so we would love for you to come and see for yourself. We are easy to find, but at the same time a gorgeous hidden gem in the Essex countryside.

From small intimate receptions to rather more grand occasions, we will tailor our service to you. We understand every Bride and Groom has their dream of how they want their special day to be and our specialist wedding coordinators will help you organise every aspect of the day.

If you are considering a civil wedding, our civil wedding license will enable you to hold both your ceremony and reception with us in the Regency or pagoda (weather permitting) and allow you to relax and enjoy your special day all under one roof. The Regency is surrounded by landscaped gardens, framed with floor to ceiling windows which accentuates the beautiful grounds with a covered patio for your drinks reception and ideal for photographs, to capture all of the memories of your perfect day. Your dedicated Wedding co-ordinator will guide you through the best options to suit your requirements and be there on your big day. We only have ONE WEDDING A DAY, there no chance of bumping into another couple on your special day. From your first point of contact, we are here to guide and assist you with the many questions that you may have deciding on that perfect venue for your special day. We invite you to arrange an appointment to discuss your plans and available dates for your big day. We do not have a set price list, we ask you to provide your numbers for the day and evening, so we can put a quote together for you. Six weeks before your wedding, Amanda will meet with you to finalise all the details, from guest numbers to table plans, meal timings to menu choices. On the day Amanda with be with you from arrival until the end of the evening.
