Nestled in the Staffordshire Countryside, Slater's Country Hotel and Inn provides a tranquil setting with a beautiful unspoiled backdrop for your wedding day. We are licensed for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies either in our wedding house or pagoda, both set in our private wedding gardens. Slater's offer exclusivity of the venue on the day.The Briar Suite provides a delightful setting for your wedding breakfast, with exposed beams (dressed with fairy lights to add a bit of glamour!) and for chillier days we also have a welcoming open fire.
All catering is prepared and freshly cooked in-house and sourced from local companies wherever possible. All special dietary requirements can also be catered for as required.
Our comprehensive bar, located within the Briar Suite supplies an extensive range of wines and spirits as well as draught beers, lagers and ciders including real ales.
Additionally, we have 17 on-site luxury bedrooms which will all be reserved up to 2 months before your wedding day to offer you first refusal for your guests.We can seat 90 guests in our wedding house for the ceremony and Briar Suite for the Wedding Breakfast. In the evening we can accommodate up to 160 for more informal catering.

Very helpful
We got engaged 3 years ago and went to view it as a wedding venue and both fell in love. The rustic, country vibe was exactly what we wanted and it was made even more perfect by the wonderful staff and wedding co-ordinator Julie. Julie has made the planning process a lot easier and has given lots of guidence and help where needed. Nothing has been too much! She has wonderful creative vision, and goes above and beyond to make it come to life.
A few months ago I lost Dad very suddenly. If we had got married 9 months ago, when we should have done, my Dad would of been there by my side. It's been very hard and particularly emotional in regards to planning the wedding - but Julie has been a real support and has yet again, gone above and beyond to make things easier for us and take any excess stress away.
We are on the countdown now and have 9 weeks to go!
