New Place was commissioned as a wedding gift, designed and built by the famous British architect, Sir Edwin Lutyens. New Place is now a Grade I Listed Building available for your wedding reception!

Ornate wrought-iron gates welcome you to a charming Hampshire village venue ideally suited to truly fulfil that special day experience for you, your friends and family. New Place is an idyllic spot in which to invite guests to share your special experience and indulge in some precious time together, seamlessly blending traditional and modern spaces over 32 acres of landscaped gardens, including our Grade I listed manor house.

As soon as you enter the New Place Hotel grounds, you will be awed by the amount of space, history and grandeur this beautiful country estate encapsulates. Whether you are looking to celebrate your union with an intimate wedding or a large affair, we have adaptable spaces and delicious catering options to design your dream day.

Maintaining an inviting and personable feel, New Place Hotel benefits from the flexibility of a grand hotel but with the warmth of a historic country residence. The hotel is fully licensed for civil ceremonies in Hampshire and many couples choose to marry in our exquisite Bristol room, with its wood panelled walls and opulent focal fireplace. After sealing the nuptials, wedding parties can move on to a number of areas of the hotel, including The Courtyard, Arden Suite and Manor House, which can all accommodate wedding ceremonies and receptions. With a list of recommended suppliers, our team can help to design all elements of the celebration and will work with couples to ensure their dream day becomes a reality.

At New Place Hotel you will be our focus as we exclusively only hold one wedding per day. We believe that no two weddings are the same and treat each event with a fresh approach, new ideas and abundance of energy. Our Chef will work with couples to design a fantastic menu, using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients to create inspired dishes, ensuring the menu reflects the couple’s tastes and theme.

Your wedding at New Place does not end with the final dance; as part of our package, couples enjoy their first wedded night in a specially-appointed room to relax and reminisce on newly-made memories.
