An 18th Century courtyard hotel with 30 bedrooms located in the Leicestershire countryside on the shores of Rutland Water just a stones throw away from the historic Normanton Church.

Our setting is absolutely perfect for those all-important pictures to treasure the memories of your special day.

Our function room opens to include our beautiful conservatory, with unrivalled views of the water to enjoy during your wedding breakfast, in the evening the sunsets are simply breathtaking. Our 5 acres of gardens virtually reach down to the waters edge so during the warmer months you and your guests can mingle in the beautiful grounds; we also have a play park for children to enjoy.

We offer set packages but we understand that every wedding is unique, so we pride ourselves on our flexibility. We will work with you to plan your big day within your allocated budget.

A lovely venue in a stunning location. The package we have chosen is exclusively for 2023 for 50 guests with the option of adding extra guests at £85 for day and £12.95 for evening. The package includes an arrival drink, the wedding breakfast, a glass of house wine, plus glass of sparkling for the toast, and bacon rolls & potato wedges for the evening reception. Linen, cake stand, Master of Ceremonies, plus the bridal suite is also included in the package. The grounds overlook Rutland water and there is plenty of space to sit outside and socialise with everyone or simply take in the gorgeous view. The hotel is a short walk from Normanton Church which is a popular civil ceremony venue for a maximum of 100 guests and is located ‘on the water’. Perfect for Wedding photos and perfect for a smaller wedding.
