Boudoir Photography Tips
Remember years from now the money you have spent on your wedding photography will be irrelevant, but bad photographs will spoil those cherished memories forever and can never be replaced.
Does your photographer have insurance? Hopefully they have professional indemnity insurance, if in doubt ask to see their certificate, as this insurance is your only real way to have peace of mind.

Consider how you want the photographer to capture your wedding. We capture all of those little moments during your big day, even those that you may not see, so you can treasure them forever!
Personalise your boudoir gift. Write a personal message like 'Meet me at the altar' on the front or choose the same colour bow as your bridesmaids dresses.
Organise your boudoir shoot when he is away on his stag do and treat yourself to a night out afterwards, you'll look amazing!
If your photographer offers an engagement shoot as part of the package then take it! They are a great way to not only practice in front of the camera but to get to know your photographer.
What can you bring that will have him smiling from ear to ear? Bring something he loves
Once you have commissioned Raymondo, agree a list of the family and guests that must be covered on the day.
Every professional has a different style, technique and personality, you need to make sure the photographer you interview and "click" with will be the same one who photographs your wedding.
Remember to book in with plenty of time before your wedding. I like to have you in the studio at leat 2 months before your wedding day. That way all the products are available to you.
Think about how you can personalise his wedding gift for him. What does he love? What does he love about you? What can you bring with you that will make him smile or laugh?
Prepare yourself for the shoot. Start with the basics. Think about the little details. Cover your roots, exfoliate skin and perfect nails etc. Cut out any obvious labels. Try everything on before hand
If you can, bring two sets of lingerie with you. This way your shoot can take on an extra dimension. My favourite lingerie is the baby doll. This glides over your curves and is very flattering.
Plan your boudoir shoot at least 5-6 weeks before you need your images
Make sure your lingerie is fitted properly (it's well worth having your bra fitted by a specialist)
Don't have a fake tan before your photo shoot (the colours can look really weird)
