Are you looking for a friendly, unpretentious celebrant, who doesn't take herself too seriously and who loves something a bit different? Well you've found her!
Maybe you're just not a posh hotel and canapes type of couple; or maybe it's not your first wedding: you did the whole big, white dress and sit-down reception thing in the past and that's just not what you're after this time round.
I get it! I've been married twice and my two weddings were about as different as it's possible to be, in both size and style, so I have absolutely no expectations about how, where or what yours should be, whether it's your first or your fifth. What I'm interested in is you: your story and what makes you both tick, so you can expect me to be very nosey and to ask lots of questions!
I'm a bit loud and a bit theatrical (as my mother will tell you!). I don't really do pink and flowery, but give me bright colours, glitter and a mirror ball and I'm in my element!

(P.S. Don't get me wrong: I'm not saying I won't do hotel weddings, if that's your chosen venue, but I like to be honest about the fact that my preference is for the original and imaginative and some hotels are more open to that kind of thing than others!)

Your wedding is about the two of you - not about anyone else's preconceptions or expectations. Do it your way!
Be clear and honest with your celebrant (and all your suppliers) from the outset about what you do - and don't - want. It's your day, not theirs!
If you're planning for an outdoor ceremony or party, make sure there's a contingency arrangement - the British weather can never be relied upon, no matter what time of year it is!
