I'm an independent Wedding Celebrant based in Sedgefield, Stockton-on-Tees, in the heart of County Durham, North East. I'm a a retired primary school teacher, who undertook training at the Academy of Modern Celebrancy because I wanted to continue making a difference in people’s lives. I really love getting to know my couples. I'm a passionate supporter of equality and diversity.
I respect all religions and beliefs and I'm happy to incorporate any prayers, rituals, and traditions that are meaningful to you into your ceremony. However, if you do not wish to include any religious or spiritual elements, that’s fine too!

Services Offered:
I primarily cover the North East of England, but I'm happy to follow wherever love may lead.
Remember, you don’t have to have your ceremony at a licensed venue. Whether you want to get married at your favourite pub, on a boat, or somewhere totally off the beaten path, the choice is yours!
I will be available to guide and support you throughout the planning process. I'll help you select your music and readings, create a bespoke ceremony script, assist you with your vows, and provide the information you need to file the legal Marriage paperwork with the appropriate registrar.

She put us at ease as soon as we met her. In our preparation meetings, sat with us and listened intently to our hopes for our ceremony and she captured the essence of our love story in the most beautiful and thoughtful way. We had lots of comments from our guests after our ceremony to say that they’d never been to such a lovely wedding. It was perfect!

I’m widely known as a ‘Family Celebrant’ – an inclusive and compassionate person, who knows what makes people tick. I have a calm and reassuring approach to people of all backgrounds and ages. I have created a good range of wedding ceremonies and every single one has been wonderfully unique. I believe that every couple deserves to make those important choices about what they want to include in the happiest day of their lives. Not what someone else thinks they should have!
