Shalima & Sukru's Wedding Story
Having only met this couple 10 days before their wedding, Celebrant Amanda-Louise Knight had to clear her diary! Working with this couple was a delight. They wanted to capture their heritages and religion. Shalima is from India and Sukru near Turkey. Some of the guests didnt speak english, so we needed to interpret the words. Rings were exchanged, Muslim book of Quram was quoted, their love story spoken wrapped up in their hopes and dreams for the future.
After the ceremony they had live music with kurdish band to escort them into their wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
