Nicky & Simon's Wedding Story
So many of our guests hadn't heard of The George Vaults in Rochester but so many of our guests will be returning. Our special day was exceptional. Every attention to detail was made. The venue was intimate and quite amazingly beautiful when bathed in candlelight and echoing to the sound of our guests laughing. The outside space was stunning in its contemporary simplicity, thankfully giving some shelter from the sunshine by a huge canopy of umbrellas. Our wedding planner Carla, was hugely patient and nothing was too much trouble for her. She was with us from the booking date to the end of the wedding day. Thank you so much. One sneaky bit of advice. The Vaults are not easy to photograph well. Choose Chris Deller, an amazing photographer who captured our day perfectly. All of the guests were amazed by the quality and choice of the food offered. We had the gold package and I can only recommend it. Both food and drink were plentiful, beautifully presented and impeccably served not to mention extremely tasty. So many of our guests have said that it was the best wedding that they have ever been to and, although biased, we would have to agree. We wouldn't have changed a thing. We had a total of 36 seated for the wedding breakfast and it was the perfect number. 60 in the evening for dancing and yet more food completed the day. We cannot recommend the venue, the staff and the organisation of the day highly enough.
