Marko & Jenny's Wedding Story
Marko & Jenny are closely linked with the Dubrovnik, both having Yugoslavian heritage and having family links with ourselves.
They took a historic routemaster bus hired for the occasion from the Dubrovnik to the Serbian Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity on Little Horton Lane for the ceremony itself.
Following the ceremony the guests returned to the Dubrovnik, enjoying a drinks and canape reception while Marko & Jenny were whisked away to the award winning Lister Park just steps away from the Dubrovnik for their wedding photos.
Upon their return they indulged in a traditional Yugoslavian wedding breakfast, including delights such as Mezze & Chicken Noodle Soup, all accompanied by live music from an authentic Serbian band, flown over especially for the occasion!
Following the conclusion of the wedding breakfast, our Corinthian Ballroom was turned around ready for the evening reception. However, some guests were too eager to party, and our team swiftly set this up around those already wanting to dance along to the live music!
During the evening we opened the Restaurant as an overflow space to accommodate the additional guests, hosting the buffet in the Rotary Suite, with seating in the Oak House Suite for those wishing to dine and take some respite to converse away from the party in full swing in the Ballroom!
The day absolutely flew by, and before we all knew it the time for the last song had come around, which, as their favorite song, was the perfect end to the day of their dreams!
