The Real Wedding of Lorna & Andrew

Lorna & Andrew's Wedding Story

The happy couple were married in Normanton Church in November. A dry crisp day they got married at 4pm just as the sun was setting. It was very atmospheric in the church which was just lit with candles. They had there guests see them off from the church with sparklers. At the venue guests were greeted with roaring fires and warm mulled wine. Their wedding breakfast was sharing boards which added to the conversation at the table. All their guests received toffee apple favours which were also used as their name setting. There were plenty of pumpkins and warm toned flowers displayed around the venue. Their table centrepieces were pumpkins filled with flowers sitting on a log slice. They didn’t have a traditional wedding cake - they had cheese and as the bride was Irish they had 1 Guinness cake. What a great day full of warmth and cosiness.
