Leah & Scott's Wedding Story
Leah and Scott got married at Wivenhoe House between Christmas and New Year ’s Day.
They live in Canada so I didn’t actually meet them until the wedding day, we had had a few calls/emails before the wedding to plan some of the images they wanted.
This was a very cold winter’s day so Leah wasn’t keen on being outside for very long however we had just enough time to get a few creative night shots to complement their wedding images. I was with them the whole day from bridal preparations through till after the first dance and documented everything as the day unfolded.

We live abroad and were not able to visit our venue or meet James prior to the day but we spoke on the phone and he talked us through his experience and how the day would run, and even went to see the venue himself. On the day he and Lucy were very professional, blending in with the celebrations and taking lots of natural shots as we had requested, plus some more formal couple and family photos. He had lots of good ideas for photo locations around the venue, and had the idea to use smoke bombs to capture some really unique photos in the dark outside.
