Laura & Stephen's Wedding Story
The happy couple got married on Sunday 20th April 2019 under our dreamy Lakeside Gazebo.
• Table plan: They upcycled a wooden palate and used photo frames for each table. The photo frames were later reused and given to relatives with our wedding photos.
• Centrepieces Their flowers were the highlight of the tables – an array of flowers in different hues of purple with varying levels of pillar candles. They used biodegradable oasis and the flowers have since been dried and reused as confetti.
• Flowers – nearly 30 different flowers including: Clematis, Anemone, Stephanotis, Roses, Hellebore, Lisianthus, Tulips, Hyacinth, Waxflower
• Cake – To the Bride's mother’s disappointment they chose not to have a cake. They did surprise her with a miniature wedding cake as a thank you gift during the speeches!
• Place names – They wrote people’s names on leaves collected from the gardens. The leaves were dried into confetti.
• Table names – Photos of the happy couple from places they have visited together
• Any other venue décor – Chivari chairs, uplighters around the room and a checkerboard dancefloor
• Catering options – All from Inn on the Lake
Their top wedding planning/on the day tip: Enjoy the planning and focus on what really matter to you both, not the small details. As long as you are surrounded by your loved ones, have great food, great music and an awesome photographer, nothing else matters.
