Laura & Adam's Wedding Story
It's the middle of August 2008, one of the sunniest and hottest summers for many years. However, this was the day the heat wave ended and the rains came. This didn't trouble Laura and Adam or the team at Preston Court who were well prepared. They had a barn already prepared as the rain came and the guests hurried in from the original lake-side location. There were occasional dry periods during the day and we made good use of them when they came. The icing on the cake came at sunset when the sky turned to a dramatic mixture of red and dark grey. I rushed in to the reception and, much to Laura's surprise, insisted that she grabbed Adam and came outside. They couldn't believe how beautiful the sky looked. Adam looked at one of the photos by the carousel and said "I love it. That's made my day."
