Katy & Nic's Wedding Story
Magical in more ways than one, Katy and Nic held their reception at Ham Manor – no love potions needed…
While Katy & Nic wanted a church ceremony, and chose St Peter’s in Henfield, lots of couples enjoy the convenience of a being in one beautiful venue which Ham Manor can offer with a fully licensed ceremony room with a view of the golf course.
We asked Katy & Nic what made them choose Ham Manor for their reception:
“We felt that the building layout was perfect for us, especially the dance floor and uplighters.” Nic says. “We’d been to some weddings where the venue was too spread out so not many people danced etc, whereas the open plan of Ham Manor would encourage dancing.”
Katy and Nic made the most of our resident DJ, who provided plenty of tunes to get guests up and moving! They also decorated the venue with a wonderful theme, as described by Katy:
“We chose Harry Potter as we wanted to have an unusual wedding with lots of props/theming. We themed the tables around different events in Harry Potter – whomping willow, great hall, Diagon Alley etc. We then had floating candles and flying keys from the ceiling, and had home made wands and golden snitches as favours.” The very impressive Hogwarts House cake was made by the talented Petra’s Cakes in Worthing – and it’s any Harry Potter fan’s dream!"

With a fully licensed ceremony room, in-house caterers, DJ’s and the beautiful backdrop of our 18th Century Grade II manor house, Ham Manor is perfect for weddings, as well as parties and other celebrations.
