The Real Wedding of Katie & Law

Katie & Law's Wedding Story

We knew from the off that we wanted our day to fully represent who we are and have as many personal touches as possible! Katie made all the stationary and designed every detail through the day and we spent it in a place close to both our hearts, Law’s childhood cricket club!

We chose to have pinks, gold and copper as a colour scheme and everything was very relaxed from the short wedding dressed to the amazing flowers.

After a service in the tiny village church we walked the guests next door to the cricket club where we had a marquee. The opted for a open bar and we had some friends make 3 ales and a larger which went down a treat! The food was just incredible with a nod towards Law’s Scottish roots with Haggis pate to start and beef and black pudding main with a hog roast in the evening.

The day was filled with fun touches from the cacti favours to the tassels and sequins!

We had our first dance to a slowed down version of 500 miles by the Proclaimers and then had everyone on the dance floor until the early hours before a sparkler send off!
