Julie & Russell's Wedding Story
Julie and Russell’s wedding was at the Sheene Mill, and I was really excited to be back there photographing their wedding day.
The day began with Julie and the girls getting ready at the wedding venue. We had so much fun during these few hours, non stop laughter and a few very emotional moments thrown in too.
Julie’s son Theo walked in and said his mum looked like a princess in her dress, and when Maggie saw her daughter for the first time in her dress a few tears were shed.
They were eagerly awaiting the arriving of Russell, so I popped down to greet him. He was pretty nervous which he admitted was very unlike him, I guess that just shows how much getting married means and what an emotional day it is. This just makes my job even more special.
The weather was pretty warm for November so they pushed ahead with the outdoor ceremony, and what a great choice it was. No rain, just clear skies and surrounded by the lovely outdoor space at the Sheene Mill The ceremony was a very emotional one, first with laughter when Julie dropped her reading card and then followed by lots of happy tears.
The evening was a huge part of the day and they were both really looking forward to it. The whole day was special in so many ways and I was just glad to be a part of it. They are two of the loveliest people I have ever met, and I wish them all the best for the further.
