The Real Wedding of Emma & Daniel

Emma & Daniel's Wedding Story

Another scorcher of a wedding – and there really is no better place to take gorgeous wedding photos at Barton Marina!! From the sparkles in Emma’s dress and headpiece, to the super cool Hummer that she surprised Dan with to get to the ceremony, Emma & Dan’s wedding day was stunning from start to finish, with added bling and sparkle that made the couple seem like royalty!

The Crow’s Nest, upstairs at the Waterfront at the marina was beautifully decorated by the wedding team there, as Dan greeted their guests into the ceremony room. Emma arrived in a classic car with her very proud father and was welcomed by her three bridesmaids and 3 gorgeous flower girls. As Emma walked down the aisle towards her husband-to-be, she looked absolutely stunning and there were lots of happy tears being wiped away by family and friends. As ever at this venue, the ceremony was incredibly romantic and personal, with the large letters spelling out LOVE as a wonderful backdrop. With rings and vows exchanged and the register signed, Emma & Dan walked out of the ceremony room, down the stairs, and into the glorious sunshine to start their married life. Drinks flowing and plenty of laughs is what I remember for their wedding, so much happiness with all the guests so thrilled to be celebrating Emma & Dan’s special day. We managed to sneak in a few wedding photos at Barton marina with their classic car before it was time for their wedding breakfast.

The Crow’s Nest is such a lovely place to have a wedding reception, large enough to host plenty of guests but intimate enough for the speeches to feel informal and relaxed. Toasts made and again, lots of laughter, we made the most of the wonderful weather and headed off to take some more couple shots, this time on a jetty out into the water – very impressed they were brave enough to venture out! It was then time to cut the awesome lego wedding cake and for the new Mr & Mrs Mundy to have their first dance.

The evening reception was full of plenty crazy dancing by lots of guests and the newlyweds, but with literally the most AMAZING sunset happening I was glad to capture the last few couple shots around the gorgeous marina before the couple danced the night away with their family and friends. I’m a sucker for sunset shots, and wedding photos at Barton marina in the middle of summer, with a beautiful couple like Emma & Dan made me a very happy man!

Emma & Dan, your wedding day was awesome and I was honoured to capture it for you. Thank you for letting me take your wedding photos at Barton marina – I wish you a lifetime of happiness and enjoy these memories for many years to come.
