Daisy & Macaulay's Wedding Story
This amazing couple were married at the Glenfield Registry Office in Glenfield, Leicester, followed by an intimate reception at The Factory, Hinckley; a pleasantly unusual private function venue, which was absolutely charming.
The Bride began her day at the couple's home, with her children, sister (Bridesmaid) & the Mother-of-the-Bride; accompanied by the all-import Hairstylist & MUA. The Groom and his Groomsmen donned their attire at this Mums house, where they helped each other with all the bells and whistles of their dapper Marc Darcy checked suits.
The weather was questionable, but the Bride was adamant she wanted to get married outside as planned. Fate prevailed, and the pagoda was the perfect backdrop for the couples nuptials, witness by their close family & friends. A small number of posed family photos were taken, before the guests shot of to the reception, leaving the couple time for a short walk within the lovely grounds for some special photographs of the two, and some romantic footage taken by the videographer.
**I must mention that if you are local and planning a registry wedding, Glenfield really is the most special of Registration Offices in Leicestershire, as it holds two woodland and greenery areas which are perfect for a couple session. **
- & no, I'm not on commission, but it does make my life easier haha & you get beautiful memories without the need to drive to a separate location!
We then took a short drive to Hinckley for the Reception, which had been dressed to perfection with a flower wall, neon lighting, a mass of draped vines and twinkling candlelight. The Bride had done an outstanding job with choreographing the green & gold theme for the venue, with no detail spared, and The Factory dressed it to perfection.
After the Wedding Breakfast, the guests were overjoyed by the surprise of Mister Whippy, a local ice cream van, and myself and the videographer can also agree that his dairy delights were top notch! #thankyouplease
The evening guests arrived in time for the cake cutting and the first dance, and we ended the night with a couple of sparkler shots with just the happy couple, as the bridal party were, cough, not to be trusted with fireworks at that time... HAHA
Absolute blinder of a day, with the most wonderful and chilled couple, gorgeous theme & attire and fabulous venues with very helpful staff!
