Our relaxed family bbq and after party!
We decided on a big family affair at Jimmy’s after our intimate ceremony and wedding breakfast in Bury St Edmunds.
We wanted to invite our wider families along earlier in the day than most evening offered and we were able to have a cocktail hour and BBQ starting at 6pm before an amazing party at the farm. The farm also offered a more relaxed/ less traditional vibe for our celebrations. As foodies, farm to fork is something we are passionate about so that was another box that Jimmy's Farm ticked.
The farm restaurant layout also attracted us, with the bar, and seating areas/alcoves and dancefloor on different levels but still open plan so that everybody could enjoy the party going on the dancefloor even if they weren’t dancing! That and the access to the terrace and gorgeous views outdoors across the fields.
Honestly the entire staff were so accommodating and professional on the day, Natalie in the build up was a dream, she listened to exactly what we were all about and made it all happen seamlessly! BBQ was commented on by everyone as was so delicious!
Thanks so much to everyone at the farm, I can’t recommend the team and venue highly enough! :)
