Charlotte & Matt's Wedding Story
I whole heartedly had the confidence in the team here at the hotel that the day would be perfect enough for my big sister! Not many people get the chance to say that they planned their sister’s wedding from the venue point of view but I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it.
Char & Matt opted for the more casual sundown package, cocktails and canapés followed by a BBQ. Matt chose his signature cocktail – a Mojito – and swallowed his pride to admit ‘they were as good as his!’ The weather was beautiful, as was the bride who fashioned a dark red lip to team with her navy and burgundy theme. The deep red roses were stunning against the brides dress, add in the beautiful bridesmaids (cough, cough!) and lovely groomsmen and you had yourself a bridal party good enough for the Oscars.
The ‘Bride Tribe’ had a team of people making them feel like Hollywood stars who set up camp in our Oak Room; an airy and private room which worked perfectly for us all as a dressing room to have a glass of fizz and relax before the ceremony. It really was the perfect day and we all wish we could go back and relive it again.
Obviously I am so proud of my sister but brimming with pride for my team at the hotel. I knew what to expect and they even exceeded these expectations.
