Bethany & Joshua's Wedding Story
Bethany & Joshua’s gorgeous wedding took place at the Little Hermitage, an 18th Century Georgian Country House in Kent in October 2021.
We headed downstairs to greet the boys on their arrival. They all looked super smart in their Moss Bros suits and we sneaked a peek at the couples’ stunning rings created by Custom and Co in Maidstone.
As the ceremony drew near, we took our positions at the Little Hermitage’s sunning Gazebo, surrounded by the Kent Countryside and decorated to perfection with stunning blooms from Flowers by EG.
The Bridal party entered the gardens via a sweeping Georgian Stone staircase. Bethany looked amazing and they both giggled through the ceremony. It was wonderful to witness their ceremony alongside their friends and family.
The grounds at the Little Hermitage afforded so many wonderful areas for photography, and although there are lots of nice spots, the grounds themselves are not large and so finding them is super quick and easy.
The Little Hermitage pillared front entrance to the Main House was my favourite area and the images we captured of the couple chatting and giggling there are some of my favourites. With the rolling Kent Countryside in the distance, it felt like a very special time and place to be.
When it was time for their meal the couple took their seats in a splendid room with family and friends to enjoy their wedding breakfast and after cut a beautiful cake made by Sponge.co.uk.
The sunset and we left them to dance the night away to music from the in house DJ. It was a perfect end to a wonderful day. I know Bethany and Joshua both love photography themselves and it felt such an honour that they chose Louisa Dettmer Wedding Photography to capture their day. Thank you for having us along Beth and Josh- it was amazing.
