Becky & Mark's Wedding Story
Mark and Becky got married on 29th April 2017at the Royal Marines Museum on the seafront in Southsea. The Museum is impressive and grand. They had planned a 1950’s wedding and wanted a period venue so the Museum fit the bill. I think I actually referred them to the Museum too; so a bonus. Being a wedding photographer in hampshire, its quite hard to find properties with this amount of grandeur and history for a wedding, so it was great as the museum fit the bill. Everything about their wedding to their polkadot bridesmaids dresses and shoes, and Grease page boys fit perfectly into the theme. The cars were 1950’s Cadillacs and they were able to come with the roof down as it was a sunny day.
HONEYMOON
We went to Orlando, Florida USA. We booked through Thomas Cook. This was to 3rd visit here, the last time we visited we actually got engaged there so we had to go back. We hired a mustang and explored Florida. We knew there was more to Orlando then theme parks and it was amazing.

Our tip is don’t be afraid to be different, make sure your wedding is about what you both love. Make sure you also have a fab photographer that captures the day for you, you get what you pay for!

Cannot thank Ali enough for not only capturing our day perfectly but also looking after us. She mixed in with the guests and made so many people laugh all day. She made sure she took us away for a breather and she got some great pictures. She also looked after me, making sure I had something to eat and drink as I was constantly busy. I knew she was the photographer for us as soon as we met her, book her!!We really struggled at first trying to get suppliers and items for our non traditional wedding, but it was really fun finding suppliers that were willing to help us. You wouldn’t believe some of the responses we got along the way because it was a different type of wedding! But we met some fantastic people running small businesses that were willing to help us bring our vision to life.
